An introduction to the college application process begins in freshman year with resume building and continues each year with a focus on intensive college research. Periodic small group workshops covering several topics related to the college application process, including essay writing, college visits, EA, ED I, ED II, SAT, ACT, SAT Subject Tests, and important deadlines are offered for juniors and seniors, as well as their parents. to learn about over 125 colleges without even leaving 7100 Shore Road. As part of Xaverian’s College Tuesdays program, colleges and universities visit the school each week to meet with prospective students. Colleges such as St. John’s University, St. Francis College, St. Joseph’s College, New York Institute of Technology, Pace University, and LIU Post visit Xaverian to conduct on-site interviews with immediate admissions decisions.
