Kimberly Kuhn
FRIDAY
Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2012
On Aug. 20, 2011, the coveted jade and gold crown was placed on Kimberly Kuhn’s cowboy hat as she began her journey as Miss Rodeo Wyoming 2012. Being given the opportunity to promote her two great loves – rodeo and Wyoming – is a life-long accomplishment for Kuhn. Proud to be raised a Wyoming cowgirl, Kuhn is the 22-year-old daughter of Pete and Vicki Kuhn and a fifth generation ranch owner in Johnson and Sheridan Counties, which made it possible for her to become the 2011 Sheridan WYO Rodeo Queen. While at the State Fair, Kuhn Ranch was included as a 2011 Centennial Farm and Ranch honoree. Kimberly graduated from the University of Wyoming with a bachelor of science in agriculture business with a minor in finance. While at UW, she was a member of UW Rodeo Team, Delta Delta Delta Sorority, SPURS Honorary and Ag Ambassadors and is a recipient of the National Western Stock Show Scholarship. Kuhn is a member of the Wyoming Rodeo Association and the Big Horn

Basque Club. She was honored to serve Cheyenne Frontier Days (CFD) as Miss Frontier 2009 and as a leader of the CFD Dandies, whom she traveled with for four years as a Goodwill Ambassador. Kuhn has earned her Gold Congressional award and served as an FFA officer, also receiving the Star in Agriculture Placement Award. As Kuhn travels the trail of Miss Rodeo Wyoming, she will take along her passion for “Be Your Best Self.” The platform she selected a number of years ago aims to create a positive attitude and build self-confidence in everyone she meets so they too can chase their dreams. Kuhn would especially like to thank her family, friends and sponsors for their support to make this year possible. Kuhn is looking forward to an extraordinary year of building up everyone she encounters while she promotes professional rodeo and the state of Wyoming with class, integrity, beauty and grace. – Courtesy Miss Rodeo Wyoming Pageant
