PROGRAM OVERVIEW The purpose of the Leadership Wylie program is to motivate and encourage civic leadership, and to develop personal leadership characteristics and skills. Participants are introduced to the leadership of our community and Collin County and the functions of our local governments. Participants are exposed to numerous activities, individuals, and agencies that impact our community. Each participant is also expected to be actively involved in the choosing and implementation of a class project that benefits the community. Graduates are encouraged to actively contribute to the growth and future of Wylie through personal service.
Interested individuals should: • Live within the Wylie City Limits or Wylie ISD boundary; • Work in Wylie; • Work for a company outside of the city that impacts Wylie; or • Be a member of the Wylie Area Chamber of Commerce
