Summary

Buildings, or architectural structures, are this component of city space, which relatively fastly wears away. From these causes it is exchanged, contributing new formal features, appropriate for time of rising. The closer to modern times the more universal and global is character of architectural forms. The attitude of modern architects towards cultural context is object of individual interpretation and in consequence - different creative decision. Beside conservative attitude, from conservative imitation, through retroversions, for more free postmodernistic dialog with surroundings, there are also conceptual standpoints omitting locality, tradition and continuation. Paradoxically, many of architectonic forms controversial in moment of build, criticized for lack of connection with spatial context, become the icon of city and symbol of certain period in its evolution.
