These contributions, spent in the year they were given as part of the operating budget, allowed VCS to meet the challenges that arose during the pandemic. These included hiring additional teachers, providing 1:1 technology for all students and staff, specialized professional development for teachers, outfitting our building with health and safety measures, and COVID-19 testing for students and staff, as well as increasing financial assistance benefits for many families.
