Essential:
ThecandidatemusthaveaMDPharmacologyorMVScPharmacologyor M.S/M.PharmPharmacologyorMScinlifesciences/Pharmacologywith twoyearsofresearchexperiencefromarecognizedUniversity/Institution withminimum60%marks.
ThecandidatemusthaveclearedGPAT/GATE/CSIR-NEToranyNational entrancetestexamconductedbyanyCentralGovt.agencyatthetimeof theinterview/selectionprocess.
Desirable:
Candidates should have experience in cell culture experiments, basic moleculartechniques,andhandlinganimalexperimentsandpreference will be given to the candidate having experience in Parkinson’s or Alzheimer’sdiseasemodels.

1. CandidatesofIndianNationalitycanonlyapplyfortheseposts.

Itismandatorytofilltheapplicationonlineandnootherformofapplicationwillbeentertained.Candidatesare requestedtoarrangethesoftcopiesofalltherequireddocumentsbeforefillingtheapplication.
3. Candidatesshouldreadcarefullytherequisiteminimumessentialqualifications,ageandeligibility,experiencecriteriaetc.laiddowninthe advertisement before applying for the above post. Since all the applications will be screened on the basis of data submitted by the candidate in the online application form, the candidates must satisfy themselves of the suitability for the position to which they are applying.Ifatanystageduringtherecruitmentandselectionprocess,itisfoundthatcandidateshavefurnishedfalseorwronginformation, theircandidaturewillberejected.
4. Applicationoncesubmittedcannotbealtered/resubmitted,underanycircumstances.Further,norequestwithrespecttomakingchanges inanydata/particularenteredbythecandidateintheapplicationwillbeentertained,oncetheapplicationissubmittedsuccessfullyby Email.

6. OntherecommendationoftheScreening/SelectionCommittee,thecompetentauthoritymayrelaxalloranyoftherequirementsrelatedto ageandexperienceinexceptionallymeritoriouscases.
7. Fulfillmentofqualificationsandexperienceisanessentialrequirement.Asstated,theInstituteisfreetosetthebenchmarkandcallonly theeligiblecandidatesfortheon-lineinterview.Further,NIPERGuwahatialsoreservestherightNOTtofillanyofthepostadvertised,in theeventorexigencysodecided.
8. IntimationswillbesentonlybyE-mail/hostonthewebsiteasperthedetailsmentionedintheApplicationform.
9. IncaseanydisputearisesonaccountofinterpretationofclausesinanyversionofthisAdvertisementotherthanEnglish,theEnglish versionavailableontheNIPER-GWebsiteshallprevail.
10.CANVASSINGINANYFORMMAYLEADTOCANCELLATIONOFTHECANDIDATE.
11.AllappointmentsshallbeoncontractofSixMonths.Theappointmentsareagainstthetemporaryprojectpositionsandwillnotcontinuein any circumstances beyond the duration of the said project. Any subsequent contract in the projector another project will be fresh appointment. The appointment in the outside funded project does not give project staff any claim whatsoever for appointment/regularizationagainstanyInstitutepost.

13.ListoftheShortlistedcandidateswillbedisplayedontheInstitutewebsite.
14.In-caseofonlineinterviewsonly,thelinkfortheonlineinterviewswillbesenttotheshortlistedcandidatesindividually,adaybeforethe interview.
