Job Description:ResponsibleforManagementofProjectsunderdifferentInvestmentSchemes.
Reporting System: TheConsultantshallreporttoGM(HeadofInvestmentDept).
Key Responsibilities:
GrantManagementofnewandongoingprojects.
Project appraisal through eligibility checks, inviting expert comments, site visits (physical/virtual)andorganizingTEC(Technical ExpertCommittee)andApexmeetings.
Arrange all the financial, legal and IP related documents from the companies and their respective collaborators prior and during the implementationoftheproject.
Monitor the progress of the projects for timely completion of milestones through evaluation of reports & site visits (physical/virtual) by PMC expertsandpresentationsbythefundrecipients (industry/academia)beforeTEC.
Coordinatewithdifferentdepartments(Technical, Legal, IP, Finance, etc.) within BIRAC for timely disbursementoffundsandtheirproperutilization inaccordancetoprescribedguidelines.
Contribute to scientific analysis and understandingoftheproblem,gapsandrequired scientificinterventioninprojects.
Supporting project’s technical activities as and whenrequired.
Preparation of In-house Technical Reports for committeesontheassignedtopics.
Understand team objectives and cooperate and collaboratewithotherstoachievethem.
OrganizingGrantwritingandschemeawareness workshops/webinars.
Anyotheractivityassignedfromtimetotime.
Essential Qualification:
Ph. D in Life Sciences/Biotechnology/ Agri/ Pharma/ Plant/Animal Sciences from a recognizedinstitute.
Experience:
: Post Ph.D experience between 3 to 10 years in life sciences related activitieswithminimum2yearsofexperiencein Grant/ProjectManagementortranslationaland productdevelopmentactivities,orrelatedareaof research in industry or academic research
Senior consultant: Post Ph.D experience between11to19yearsinlifesciences related activitieswithminimum3yearsofexperiencein Grant/ProjectManagementortranslationaland productdevelopmentactivities,orrelatedareaof research in industry or academic research institute.
