Jessica O’Connell 55.25-meter throw at the Raleigh Relays. Adams landed in second place all-time with a 53.29-meter hammer throw at the Wake Forest Open, while Pritts arrived in fourth on the list with a 42.24-meter throw at the Ashland Alumni Open. Adams came in second place all-time in the discus throw with a 46.29-throw for the event at the Raleigh Relays, while Knabenshue arrived in third all-time with a 42.89-meter throw at the Big East Championships. Knabenshue also finished fifth on the all-time WVU best distance list for the shot put with an 11.27-meter throw at the Ashland Alumni Open. Competing in the indoor season, senior Katelyn Williams ended a terrific All-American career at WVU in strong fashion as she achieved a season-best 1.75-meter high jump three times and placed second at Big East with the same height. She came in first place with the height at the Columbia Last Chance Meet and the Gold-Blue Meet. Distance runners Stephanie Caruso, Kate Harrison and Ahna Lewis completed their WVU eligibility with good form with Caruso earning a team-best time in the 10,000-meter with a 35:05.60 at the Stanford Invitational, while Harrison and Lewis competed at the Big East Outdoor Championships with 7th- and 9thplace respective finishes. Among mid-distance runner, sophomore Jenna Barreto showed high potential by earning the team’s two best times of the year in the 800-meter run with respective times of 2:11.22 and 2:13.46 at the Larry Ellis Invitational and Wake Forest Open.
