DAY 1
Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka, the tropical paradise, and be warmly greeted by our courteous staff. Pick up at 10am, there after transfer to Colombo. Colombo is the commercial capital of Sri Lanka with a population of 1, 1 million. The Fort, in the very centre of the city, is where most of the colonial remnants mainly from the British era are to be found. Nearby Pettah is Colombo’s busiest and most traditional bazaar, mosaic of human activities and architectural memories. Overnight stay at selected Star Class Hotel. DAY 2
After breakfast at the hotel proceed to Nuwara Eliya. Nuwaraeliya, this beautiful town is where the British succeeded in creating a replica of the English countryside, with homes in styles from Georgian to Queen Anne. Well-kept lawns with hedges, an Anglican church, a famous golf course and beautiful parks give the place an air of nostalgia. Overnight stay at selected star class Hotel. DAY 3
After breakfast visit Horton Plains, Nature lovers will revel in this wide, patna-grass covered plain, the haunt of many wild, yet harmless, animals and the home of many species of birds. Bridle paths will take you to the precipice known as World’s End – a sheer drop of 1,050 meters. Acres and acres of tea with its lush green foliage extend miles across the hills. There are numerous shrines and temples in and around Kandy, where you will see rare paintings, frescoes, and stone carvings. shopping in Kandy, where you could fetch souvenirs in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony, and bronze, ceramics, lacquer work, handlooms, batiks, jewellery and rush and reedware. After breakfast at the hotel proceed to the Peradeniya Royal Botanical Garden. Overnight stay at selected star class Hotel.
DAY 6
After breakfast proceed to Negombo. Set amidst lush groves of coconut palms, it breathes the spirit of the sea. Negombo is a gourmet’s paradise with seafood in plenty. Old – world fishing craft, like the outrigger canoe. Where you can have the chance of indulging yourself with one of catches fresh from the sea such lobsters or king size prawns. After a few good days of travel and enjoying an exotic holiday in this paradise isle, transfer to the Airport after breakfast for the Departure.
