A magnificent adventure that you will never forget!

DAY 1 Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport, Sri Lanka, the tropical paradise, and be warmly greeted by representative on arrival. Thereafter proceed to Colombo. Colombo Situated 34 Km from the Airport Colombo is well worth a day – trip and not at all difficult find your way around. In North – Colombo is the Fort, the oldest area, which includes the excellent natural harbour. The central Bank and the official residence of the President, give this area a certain formal charm other places worth visiting are the Vihara Maha Devi park, the national museum, Art Gallery Buddhist temple, Hindu Kovils, Mosques and Churches. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. DAY 2 After breakfast leaving Singharaja Rain Forest. Sinharaja Rain Forest is a world heritage site and major eco tourism destination, Whatever its ‘technical’ name, it is undoubtedly a rich treasure trove of nature with a great diversity of habitats and a vast repository of Sri Lanka ‘s endemic species found nowhere else in the world. DAY 3 After breakfast visit Udawalawe National Park. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. DAY 4 & 5 After breakfast proceed to the Yala National Park. The range of habitats give rise to a good range of wildlife. Yala has the world’s highest concentration of Leopards, although seeing this largely nocturnal carnivore still requires some luck. There are good numbers of Asian Elephants, Crocodile, Wild Boar, Water Buffalo and Grey langurs amongst other large animals. The open parkland attracts birds of prey such as White-bellied Sea Eagle and the wetlands have Waders, Painted Storks, and the rare Black-necked Stork.Landbirds of course are in abundance, and include Sirkeer Malkoha, Indian Peafowl and Sri Lanka Jungle fowl. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. DAY 6 After breakfast proceed to Horton Plains. Close to Nuwaraeliya is Horton Plains, Sri Lanka’s highest and most isolated plateau. Nature lovers will revel in this wide, patna-grass covered plain, the haunt of many wild, yet harmless, animals and the home of many species of birds. Bridle paths will take you to the precipice known as World’s End – a sheer drop of 1,050 meters. Acres and acres of tea with its lush green foliage extend miles across the hills, and no visit to the hill country is complete without a visit to a tea estate, and the chance to purchase some of the world’s finest flavored tea. Day 7 Animals commonly spotted at Gal Oya National Park include Sloth bears, Asian elephants, wild boars, leopards, water buffalos, monkeys et al. Birds like the black shouldered kite, wooly necked storks, sea eagles, serpent eagles etc. are a common sight in the evergreen forests of Gal Oya National Park in Sri Lanka. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. DAY 8 After breakfast proceed to the Maduru Oya National Park. Elephant being the most significant animal species of Maduruoya NP, it is inhibited by the other large mammals such as leopard, sloth bear, sambhur, spotted deer, barking deer, wild boar and wild buffalo too. Torque Macaque, Purplefaced Leaf Monkey and nocturnal Slender Loris also are recorded n the park. Lesser Adjutant, Wooly-


necked Stork, Open-bill Stork, Painted Stork, Racquet-tailed tailed Drongo, Yellow-fronted Barbet, Sri Lanka Jungle fowl are the common species of birds, among the over 100 species of birds found within the park. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. DAY 9 After breakfast proceed to the Wasgamuwa National Park. Twenty three (23) species of mammals in Sri Lanka have been reported from this park. The most important of them is the wild elephant (Elphas maximus) the population of which is approximately 150. in addition, one could see the wild buffaloes (Babalus bubalis) grazing in the grassland while spotted Deer (Axis axis) roaming in the open areas. Occasions where one comes across a Leopard (panthera Pardus) or a sloth bear (Melursus Ursinus) are nor rare. There are also water Monitors (Varanus salvator) and crocodiles (Crocodylus palustris) roaming very often in the waterholes within the park. Of the 428 species of birds reported to be found in Sri Lanka, 143 species are found in this park. DAY 10 After breakfast visit Minneriya National Park Located between Habarana and Polonnaruwa, the 8890 hectares of Minneriya National Park is an ideal eco tourism location in Sri Lanka . The park consists of mixed evergreen forest and scrub areas and is home to Sri Lanka ‘s favorites such as sambar deer, leopards and elephants. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. DAY 11 After breakfast proceed to the Wilpattu National Park. Wilpattu National Park consists of a complex of lakes called ‘Villus’ surrounded by grassy plains, set within scrub jungle. Many of the `big game’ found in Sri Lanka including elephant, sloth bear, water buffalo, and spotted dear can be seen here, though the biggest attraction at Wilpattu is Leopard. Wilpattu is among the oldest and most important protected areas in Sri Lanka and being situated away from the common tourist routs, this National Park is unspoilt and can be enjoyed in tranquil seclusion. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. DAY 12 After breakfast proceed to ‘Negombo’. Set amidst lush groves of coconut palms, it breathes the spirit of the sea. Negombo is a gourmet’s paradise with seafood in plenty. Old – world fishing craft, like the outrigger canoe and the catamaran, bring seer, skipjack, herring, mullet, pomfret and amber jack, while lobster and prawn are caught in the lagoon. Overnight at selected star class Hotel. Day 13 After enjoying an exotic holiday in this paradise isle transfer to the Airport after breakfast for the Departure.
