About University College Recognized worldwide for academic excellence, Washington University in St. Louis has offered continuing education programs and courses through University College since 1908. Today, University College offers part-time, evening, online and summer school classes to students who want to earn undergraduate or graduate degrees or certificates in specialized areas of study, or pursue personal enrichment. Our programs provide adult students the opportunity to experience the excitement of attending and earning a degree or certificate from a world-class research institution.

OUR STUDENTS Our students are St. Louis. From the 25-year-old public relations professional living in Kirkwood in pursuit of a graduate degree to the 45-year-old mother from Ferguson finishing her college degree, to the executive in Fenton expanding his knowledge about international relations, to the grandmother in St. Charles who always wanted to learn French, we provide continuing education options for ambitious and curious minds of all ages.

OUR FACULTY Our instructors include many WashU faculty as well as professionals from the greater St. Louis community. These include successful business, science and health professionals, working journalists, writers and performing artists, and WashU graduate students and recent PhDs.
