REGGIE JONES 5-11, 220, SENIOR, RB DESOTO, TEXAS/DESOTO HS At Washburn: Moving to tailback after seeing time at fullback as a junior. In 2001: Rushed for 102 yards on 39 carries scoring two touchdowns. Had four receptions for 10 yards out of the backfield playing in 10 games. In 2000: Rushed for 253 yards on 54 carries including a 120-yard output against MissouriRolla. Scored four rushing touchdowns. KIP KRAISINGER 6-0, 195, SOPHOMORE, FB CLAFLIN, KAN./CLAFLIN HS At Washburn: A powerful blocker and runner with good hands who will fit in with new offensive scheme. BRYCE KELLEY 6-2, 275, SOPHOMORE, DT FLOWERMOUND, TEXAS/TULSA At Washburn: A powerful lineman who is slated for time on the defensive line. In 2001: Sat out the season as a redshirt. Background: A transfer from Tulsa University where he redshirted as a freshman. Was a three-sport athlete at Marcus High School where he was named first team all-district his sophomore through senior seasons at defensive tackle. Was named first team all-area and second team allstate as a senior. Also a state qualifier in wrestling his senior season. Personal: Born Nov. 26, 1980. Son of Valori Semones and David Kelley. Majoring in communications.

MICHAEL KITCHENER 6-0, 245, JUNIOR, DE ALLENTOWN, PA./ STEPHEN F. AUSTIN HS At Washburn: Returns for his second season starting on the defensive line at right end. Voted one of the captains for the 2002 season. In 2001: Led the defensive line in tackles recorded 41 stops including 12 solo tackles. Also recorded seven tackles for loss and two fumble recoveries for 25 yards and two forced fumbles in 11 games. In 2000: Played in all 11 games recording 28 tackles including 18 solo stops and six for loss. Also had two sacks for 12 yards and a forced fumble.

Junior Michael Kitchener recorded 41 tackles as a sophomore with seven for losses of 26 yards. He also recorded two forced fumbles and recovered two fumbles.
