from Washburn after completing his bachelor of science degree from Baker University. He was also a member of the Nebraska Cornhusker’s football team from 1986 to 1987 before transferring to Baker. He coached at Washburn Rural High School, Topeka High School and Hayden High School. He played high school football at Washburn Rural High School. ASSISTANT COACHES
David Trupp, C.S.C.S., is in his fifth season as the Ichabods’ defensive line coach and the strength and conditioning coordinator. He also coaches the kickoff team. Trupp has also attained his Level 1, Olympic Certification training. While at Washburn, he has coached three all-MIAA selections on the defensive line. Trupp spent the 2001 season as the defensive coordinator and offensive line coach at Monett (Mo.) High School. From 1996 to December 1998, Trupp was the defensive tackle coach and an off-season strength and conditioning supervisor while completing his master’s degree at Pitt State.
