ENGINE FLUSH AND CLEANER

ENGINE FLUSH AND CLEANER

www.wurth.co.uk technical hotline 0845 450 0003

Cleaner for all petrol and diesel engines with or without catalyst The oil found in today’s motor vehicles differs dramatically to the lubricants used 10 years ago. Synthetic and semi synthetic oil now seems to be used in the majority of new vehicles. This type of oil keeps its viscosity for longer and prevents “black sludge” building up, however, one apparent weakness of this new generation oil is it is not as soluble as the old mineral oil so it does not absorb the by-products of combustion (dirt and particles) as well. If these particles are left to build up they could start to clog oil ways thus starving the engine of vital oil that can lead to premature wear and component failure. So there is still very much a need for Würth Engine Flush and Cleaner. • An agent to thin old oil, breaking down sludge and particle build up to ensure maximum drainage. • A detergent to clean away residues and unclog oil ways, galleries and neutralise crankcase acids. • A lubricant, (organic molybolan compound) to protect the engine while the solvents and detergents are cleaning.

• Newly developed concentrated agent for dirty engines or old oil Your advantages: • New oil remains effective and clean longer. • Loosens dirt and sludge deposits inside the engine. • Dirt is effectively removed when used oil is drained.

• Contains surfactants with a strong detergent action Your advantage: • Cleans and flushes the entire engine oil circuit. Description Engine Flush and Cleaner Filling Hose

Uses/Areas of Use: • If black sludge is suspected. • If hydraulic tappets chatter. • If the oil change is overdue. • In the event of a loss of compression from sticking piston rings. • For all mineral and synthetic based engine oils. • At every service to maintain optimum performance. Application: Before changing the oil, ensure the oil level is within the normal operating range and the engine is warm. Add contents and run engine for 10 minutes, then immediately change oil and filter. Dosage: 400ml is sufficient for 3 to 6 litres of motor oil.

COMMON RAIL DIESEL ADDITIVE

COMMON RAIL DIESEL ADDITIVE

www.wurth.co.uk technical hotline 0845 450 0003

Cleans and protects high pressure diesel systems Specifically designed for the latest common rail and high pressure diesel injection systems. • Contains a sulphur substitute, which acts as an antioxidant and helps prevent the formation of deposits. • Reduces the amount of smoke and soot in the exhaust gas. • Increases the lubricating properties and anti wear characteristics of the diesel fuel (exceeds HFRR test DIN ISO 12156). • Contains a cetane stabiliser. Uses/Areas of Use: • If a part in the common rail injection system has been repaired or changed, the quality of the fuel is extremely important due to the high pressure that the common rail runs at - up to 20,000 PSI. The new parts need a smooth “running-in” period with a high lubricating fuel. Without the use of an additive such as this, extreme premature wear can occur. • At every service to maintain optimum performance and fuel economy.

• Loosens and removes deposits particularly within injector pumps and injection nozzles Your advantage: • Reduces the soot in exhaust emissions.

• Neutralises and binds acidic condensation Your advantages: • Protects fuel system from corrosion. • Cleans and protects from fuel tank to combustion chamber.

Application: Add contents of can to fuel tank. Note: On common rail and high pressure diesel vehicles it is advisable not to “drag” contaminated fuel through the system because of the points made above. The best course of action is to drain the tank and refill with new clean fuel whilst using a Würth common rail diesel additive to reduce the chances of damage to the system. Dosage: For best results use when there is at least 20-30 litres of diesel present, 1 can will treat up to 80 litres of fuel.

AIR CONDITIONING DISINFECTANT SPRAY

DISINFECTANT SPRAY Advanced dispensing of specially formulated air conditioning system cleaner

www.wurth.co.uk technical hotline 0845 450 0003

Two applications per can All air conditioning systems produce condensation as a by product of their cooling action. If not used on a regular basis the condensation will stagnate and this will result in a build up of mould, mildew and fungi that, in turn will lead to unpleasant odours being smelt in the cockpit. Not only are these odours unpleasant but the bacteria present can lead to serious illness if the driver has prolonged exposure to them. • Penetrates fully where contamination is found. Helps to prevent future build up. • A unique patented formulation cleans, disinfects and protects. • Reduces the risk of allergies and respiratory problems, which may be triggered by bacteria or other micro organisms within the air conditioning system. • Contains no perfumes or fragrances only active disinfectants. • Approved by the German Association for Hygiene and Microbiology in accordance with the DGHM/VII List.

• Multi-spray nozzle ensures specialist cleaner reaches all contaminated areas Your advantage:

Recommendation: We recommend thorough cleaning and disinfection of the entire air conditioning system at least once a year.

• AOX free. Your advantage:

• Long term protection as cleaner reaches and penetrates all areas where contamination accumulates preventing future build up.

• Special patented formulation cleans, disinfects and protects Your advantages: • Even permeates thick, greasy build up of dirt to effectively remove germs, bacteria, fungi, mildew and unpleasant odours. • Protects against allergies and respiratory problems which may be triggered by bacteria or other micro-organisms within the air conditioning system.

• Fast and simple application Your advantages: • Requires no time consuming dismantling or manual cleaning of air conditioning system, therefore saving time and money. • Loosened contamination is drained without problem through the condensation water drain.

• For environment protection of ground and water. Prevents problems with local sewerage law.

• Seals leaks to a maximum of 0.1mm in the area of cylinder head gaskets and hose connections Your advantage: • Dirt strainers in cooling circuit do not get clogged.

• Eliminates evaporation loss in heat exchangers, heater valves, radiators and auxiliary devices Your advantage: • Enhances operating reliability and protects against engine damage due to loss of coolant.

• Product effective until the next antifreeze change • Microfine synthetic particles provide sealing effect Description Radiator Seal HP Filling Hose

Uses/Areas of Use: • In event of microscopic leaks in the cylinder head gaskets and hose connections. • In event of evaporation losses in the cooling system. • Whenever antifreeze is changed. • Can also be used on closed cooling systems. • Suitable for all conventional antifreezes and coolants. Application: With the engine warm, introduce directly to the cooling system. Only put into expansion tank if coolant flows through it. Then allow the engine to run for at least 10 minutes until the thermostat opens and you notice the heater starting to give off heat. Then turn off the engine, check the coolant level and top up if necessary. Dosage: Sufficient for 10 litres of coolant. CAUTION: Conventional radiator sealants should not be used on modern cross flow cooling systems since the strainers will get clogged; this can result in radiator failure and thus damage to the engine.
