Riley Smith claimed his share of the Muddy River Classic spotlight by winning the in the 10 to 12 division in the Jr. Looper roping. He was joined in the winners circle by Preston Bagsby who won the 7 to 9 division and Tavon Bagsby, winner of the 6 and Under division.

The Colorado Winter Championships was a hit among the Jr. Loopers who showed up to compete for championships Gist buckles. Congratulations to the winners, Gunner Stapleton in the 10 to 12 division, Heriberto Vasquez in the 7 to 9 division and Brady Frey in the 6 and Under division.

The Jr. Looper competition added to the weekend excitement at the Canyonlands Championships where young Trey Begay was the winner of the 6 and under division, Maddie Weber took home the first place Gist buckle awarded in the 7 - 9 division and Nicholas Johnson was the champion in the 10 - 12 division.
