Universal requirements to all contractors:

• Autonomy of legal status • Open license for medical practice • IT equipment • Connecting to E-Health • Regular data inputs into E-Health • Building features (e.g., wheelchair access, applied in 2011)

Conditionalities for purchasing the services

Packages with intensive care (hospital care—except complex neonatal care—two cancer packages, inpatient palliative care)

Radiologic cancer treatment

Treatment of cancer and HIV/AIDS

Specialized license for specific medical care (e.g., license to provide medical care in nephrology for haemodialysis package, applied in 2021) 24-hour visitor access to ICU

License to use nuclear energy Data input into respective registers Specification of purchased services

Types of services to be provided (e.g., diagnostic tests, developing treatment plans, treatment, surgical procedures, monitoring, provision of medications, care, rehabilitation)
