Subsidy is delivered by AEPC through local banks to manufacturers and service centers. The subsidy provisions cover almost half of the total cost of the project. After the installation of the IWM, approximately 10 percent of the installations are surveyed to assess the socioeconomic and environmental benefit. The IWM program has in-house software to capture this information on a regular basis to quantify the impact of the program. The FF’s CRT/N monitors 25 percent of the total installations at the gate of the manufacturers before the delivery to the service centers and during installation in the field on the basis of random sampling. Field visits are conducted frequently to monitor the eectiveness of the IWM units. The focus is on monitoring both the technical and social aspects.
