WORKERS FILM FESTIVAL 2014

Brothers on the Line

Join us for the 2nd Annual Workers Film Festival

Celebrating labor and people’s struggles for May Day! Festival Programmer Statement Workers Film Festival returns May Day weekend to San Diego! We had a great first year in 2013, screening classic and contemporary labor-themed film and video, raising awareness of industrial workers’ struggles in Tijuana, and sharing San Diego labor history through music. We’ve partnered with Media Arts Center San Diego this year to host three days of celebration and education May 2nd – 4th at the Digital Gym Cinema in North Park. We will present over a dozen international, local, documentary, short and feature films. We’ve connected with independent filmmakers from around the world to bring San Diego the finest batch of recent films depicting the relationship between workers and social issues. We invite you to become a sponsor of Workers Film Festival 2014. Multiple sponsorship ranges are available, including 2

visibility benefits and ticket packages. We believe our efforts are part of the ongoing work in the labor movement & the community to build and sustain a strong working class culture in San Diego. Together, we can! Thank you for taking time to consider sponsorship. If you have any questions, please reach out to us. In solidarity, Brian Myers, Programming Director Workers Film Festival 2014
