A Soldier for My Ancestors by

I am a soldier fighting for the sacrifices of my ancestors and my family. In my dreams, I see a soldier holding the world on his shoulders. I see someone who can create a better future for me and my family. When I close my eyes, I see my ancestors giving me hope when I am down. My enemies’ pain, jealousy, and hate just make me stronger. I surround myself with the feelings of my ancestors. I always feel safe because I have God and Jesus by my side. I am the hero when others are down.
