Taking the Men's Ministry to the Next Level

A couple of years ago, Mike Smith began the men’s ministry at The Pregnancy Center by serving as a Client Mentor . Mike met one-on-one with a young man who had been through some hard times in his life, and wanted to be a better father . The process of taking the men’s ministry to the next level began in early May 2022, when Pat Page reached out to discuss a men's ministry with Nick Richardson .

Nick called together a group of men to learn about the current needs and discuss possible next steps .

In response to that meeting, Doug VonBehren began volunteering as a Client Advocate for the eight men who were attending classes with their wives at that time . Since then, we have been able to reach 19 men at one level or another .

To continue building on that foundation, The Center has recently added two additional roles in order to serve even more of the dads .

First, we are in the process of expanding the Men’s
