Welcome
Welcome to our Summer 2024 season, one that offers sunshine, warmth and lots of fabulous shows and fun opportunities to get involved with Worcester Theatres!
The summer season is a firm favourite for me because we have our annual outdoor theatre production at the wonderful Worcester Commandery. This year we have commissioned the brilliant Paul Milton, Creative Director of The Everyman Theatre Cheltenham, to adapt The Three Musketeers for what promises to be a very special production. As ever pack picnics, chairs, blankets and book your flexi tickets for an evening (or afternoon) of frivolity and fun!
I am also thrilled to be presenting our second home produced piece of children’s theatre this season, following the success of Little Red Riding Hood in 2023. The Three Little Pigs offers families the perfect opportunity to introduce the wonders of theatre to their little ones in an intimate environment. We look forward to welcoming you to huff and puff with us very soon!
Alongside our home-produced theatre we have some terrific companies and artists visiting the Swan Theatre again this coming summer. I am really looking forward to welcoming the internationally acclaimed and awardwinning theatre company Ad Infinitum and their production of Beautiful Evil Things along with the incredible Black Umfolosi and the classic children’s production The Tiger Who Came to Tea. Huntingdon Hall is filled with wonderful comedians such as Simon Evans, Ria Lina and Richard Herring, and a whole host of comedians on their pre-Edinburgh
