KOLAMBUGAN CONSTITUENTS ATTENDED HOME ELECTRICAL SAFETY SEMINAR

Electricity is part of our lives. We use it from the moment we wake up and throughout the day. As a result, we sometimes forget how powerful and dangerous it can be. The safe and efficient use of electricity in the home is important for the family's welfare and may assist to reduce electricity usage. To promote electrical safety, the government set May as the National Electrical Safety Month. To address to this campaign, the IIEE-IBC had conducted a Home Electrical Safety Seminar to the constituents of Brgy. Baybay, Kolambugan, Lanao del Norte last May 30, 2015. The said activity is also participated by the electrical engineering students from St. Peter’s College – Iligan and Lyceum of Iligan Foundation. Engr. Mardeliez T. Cuajotor opened the seminar with a prayer. Hon. Sittie Djam Macarambon gave her welcome address and extended her gratitude to the organization for all the support to her constituents. Engr. Nelson D. Enriquez and Mr. Roel Eballe, the resource speakers, gave insights on the importance of home electrical safety. They pointed out the electrical safety hazards in the home and how it can be avoided and to prevent property damage as well. Engr. Rolando Cuizon, the emcee, thanked the participants for giving their time to attend the seminar.
