“In a time of deceit telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

WINTER WONDERS - George Orwell

On the heels of a too hot, too dry, too smoky summer, both locals and visitors celebrated all our early season snow. Snowplows, snowblowers, and shovels were in evidence up the down the Valley starting well before the holidays, as were hundreds of skiers, boarders, and Nordic enthusiasts who took to the trails. Fresh powder that just kept falling defined December and everyone got outside in droves. Cold temps have kept snowpack intact, and conditions just keep improving. There is a lot of winter left to enjoy — go and get it! Photo credit: Michael Edminster
