Preparing the Future Workforce
In April, EfTA volunteers will spend time at The Woodlands College Park and Grand Oaks High Schools to help prepare students for the future. Career Connections programming engages students with professionals in a variety of fields through monthly career panels, as well as one session of mock interviews. Tenth and eleventh grade participants get a chance to practice answering common interview questions about their strengths and weaknesses, as well as about where they see themselves in the future. Volunteers are needed on April 4, 6, 25, and 27 to either share their career stories or help with face-to-face interview preparation. Volunteers can learn more or register as Career Connections volunteers at efta-us.org/programs.
