Garden Furniture
Garden Furniture We have added lots of new products to our range; including reclining rattan sets, aluminium sets (with lazy Susan) and new contemporary cushions, to mention just a few. All we need now is sun! The stocks ordered this year will more than help us match, if not beat, last year’s sales. Overall, our garden furniture orders have increased by 25%. We have increased orders of our best-selling Monaco Patio Set by 10% and our rattan orders have increased by 20%. Our containers of Garden furniture have already started to arrive into the warehouse and stores can expect to start seeing stock in January.
Furniture Material Aluminium
Aluminium framed furniture is rustproof, lightweight, easy to clean and requires no treatment or painting.
Steel / Iron
Steel and iron furniture achieves a classic look with a strong and durable construction. It is heavy duty and sturdy. However, this product will rust if it is left out unprotected.
Rattan / Synthetic Rattan
A timeless look that works well in any garden. A low maintenance product that is resistance to frost and water. It is recommended that it is kept covered when not in use to prevent colour fading from UV rays. Always note if the frame is steel or aluminium, as a steel frame may rust if left unprotected. 2
Resin
For a more affordable choice, resin garden furniture is the way to go. Lightweight, low maintenance, easy to clean and weather resistant.
Wood
Wooden garden furniture works well in any garden; however, it does require regular treatment with a preservative.

Gazebos, Parasols & Bases We have a bright and beautiful range of garden parasols and sturdy gazebos to help protect and shade our customers this year. We also have a range of parasol bases in different weights and materials to help keep our parasols anchored on those windy Irish days. As per previous years, our parasols will be allocated to stores in FSDU dumpers which can be put directly into seasonal area. We have made a few changes to our range this year. We have ordered 15% more parasols. The party tent range includes upgraded designs. These feature increased frame thickness which means a sturdier product overall. We have also updated the cover of the BBQ gazebo and have introduced a new grey gazebo into the range this year.

Over the years our BBQ range has gone from strength to strength. We have something for everyone from entry level gas and charcoal BBQs to the premium Weber Genesis II E-310. This year, we’ll have a new Omaha 5 Burner BBQ. Over 400 units have been ordered and these will feature in 20 stores. In preparation for the season ahead we have invested in a large amount of stock of Weber BBQs which we have already received into Primeline. Included in this stock is the ever popular Weber Q2000. This, paired with the increased orders of Phoenix and Sahara, means that we will have 12% more stock, based on our sales for last year. As in previous years, we will also be rolling out BBQ stands to stores.

We have an exciting new range of Karcher pressure washers which will be rolled out to store in Jan 2021. The below 23 stores will also receive updated POS that will reflect the images of the new models. Please see store list and our roll out schedule below (subject to change). Any updates will be issued in the trading pack. If any other stores can facilitate this, please contact the Gardening Team. Our volume selling line of the Karcher has also been updated. Orders of this new model have already started to arrive into Primeline. The retail price for this will continue as per last year at â‚Ź249.

Watering & Hand Tools
Watering We’ve increased our Hozelock orders to meet expected demand and started taking stock early, as far back as December. Garden Hand Tools Our Garden Handtools range was decreased instore in late 2020 in order to give more room to the seasonal area. The stock which was uplifted by True Temper will be back in January as orders have already been raised. The bays are set to increase as stock starts to come back in. Our True Temper range will be landing direct to store while the Yardsmith and Robin range will be coming in through Primeline. Spare Parts Procedure
Replacement lawn mower blades for the ProLawn mowers for both Hyundai and Briggs & Stratton engines can be purchased by customers directly on our website. The blades will then be sent directly to the customers home.

Repair & Returns Procedure
Black + Decker There is a two year manufacturer’s warranty on all Black + Decker items. Products under SSP €80 can be refunded to customers without question if they have a receipt. The item must then be disposed of and put through the store waste.
Repair Under Warranty
Please ensure that the customer is aware that proof of purchase will be required for all warranty repairs. There are two options for our customers: 1. Contact Black + Decker to collect from store: T: 01 278 1800 2. Advise the customer to contact Frank Clark the service agent directly: T: 021 454 2222
Spare Parts
For spare part requests, please refer the customer to their local authorised agent, as these cannot be sold directly.

Repair Under Warranty
In the event of a customer returning an item of garden machinery for repair the procedure is as follows:

Faulty products under warranty can be sent for repair to Origo service agents.
• They will be asked to provide contact and product details. • The product serial number must be provided with proof of purchase to process a warranty collection. • When Karcher have received all these details they will organise collection of the machine by courier for inspection at our service centre. • The repaired item will then be returned directly to the consumer or if replacement is required, the item we will also deliver it directly to the consumer.

Please take the following details: • Consumer name and address.
In order to arrange collection of an item for repair with Origo stores should send an e-mail to:
• Model of the item.

• Brief description of fault.
Origo will then need all details including the store contact names, phone numbers, Woodie’s repair docket and the customers details. A courier will then be sent for collection. The turnaround time is usually between 24-48 hours. Once the item is repaired it will then be returned to the branch.
• Date of purchase attached with copy of proof of purchase. • The date it was returned to the store. • The date McLoughlins advised for uplift. • Fill in McLoughlinsRS Machine Repair form with above details and email to McLoughlinsRS Service Dept. E: servicecentre@mcl.ie McLoughlinsRS will arrange uplift collection, usually within 48 hours. The item will be assessed, repaired and returned - usually within 10 days. Please note no machinery will be credited or replaced without first being assessed by McLoughlinsRS Service Department. Faulty Items & Repairs Procedure
The returns procedure for the new ROK pressure washer is one for one.
The returns procedure for the new electric range is one for one.
In the case of a customer bringing in a suspected faulty item, the store or customer themselves are advised to contact STANLEY® Technical Services on T: (+44) 175 3511 234 When the store or customer calls the helpline, the helpline will troubleshoot the problem initially. If a product is found to be faulty, collection will be arranged from the customer’s address or from the store. The product is then assessed and if found to be faulty, credit will be returned to Woodie’s and the product can be replaced for the customer. If during the assessment the product is found not to be faulty, the product will be returned to the store or customer with an explanation.
