DATO SRI SYED HUSSIEN AL HABSHEE ....IN HIS OPENING REMARKS “ …. I shall now briefly touch on the trade figures; total

Malaysia-Thailand bilateral trade was USD 24.4 billion in 2015 - and cross border trade accounts for 50-60% of the total figure. This is not for just a mere mention of what we have achieved at total bilateral level; but I do call for what we can do together to add on to this total trade ……… by taking up a focus on the Halal dimension; we can add through the Halal Industry, where the opportunities are wide and massive, and how we work together to further intensify the cross border trade to new heights …. ; just think critically, the Halal Dimension is colossal …. a joint orchestrated effort between us can bring stunning results.”
