It was 50 years ago, but maybe you can still picture it. Maybe, like me, you weren’t born yet. Either way, all of the aforementioned phenomena have endured in spite of the time passed We still watch SNLand Wheelof Fortune We all know the words (and groove) to The Hustle and Born to Run I’m writing this letter to you on a computer utilizing Microsoft software and Womanspace continues to impact the world through its mission of connecting, empowering, creating and transforming.
However, while we endure alongside our more popular 1975 birthmates, we simply have not accumulated the resources of Bill Gates or Bruce Springstein and so, we come to you with an opportunity to support the continuation of our mission in exchange for our gratitude and recognition among our community members here in the Rockford area.
Behind this letter, you will find an overview of some of our events planned for our 50th year The effort put into these events is mostly through volunteer means and in order to leverage that effort, we are asking our community members, businesses and organizations to consider sponsorship of some or all of these events.
Benefits of each level are included on these informational sheets, but we are also offering additional benefits to those willing to sponsor at a higher level of $10,000. This 50th Year Sponsorship will provide the top level benefits of all events (a $12,000 value), plus additional marketing exposure throughout the year, aside from the events listed.
Also included is a complimentary retreat day, where your staff can enjoy some of what Womanspace has to offer with a meditation session, yoga session and art class of your choosing, all on our beautiful 7-acre grounds with gardens, forest, prairie and labyrinth.
