Green health

Your physical and mental wellbeing are shaped by your environment.

This is why our Public Health team works closely with our planners, leisure and sports, parks and recreation, housing, and highways departments (among others) to design and action projects big and small to benefit our residents’ mental and physical health.

Successes include the Borough’s first traffic free green route (greenway) between Finchampstead and Arborfield Green, making sure the redeveloped Market Place includes trees, and designing a range of activities especially for people with dementia.
