We are so excited to have you join us online for this unique experiential event. If you have attended a WOCNext or Wild on Wounds (WOW) event in the past, you have experienced the excitement and energy of being uplifted by your peers and you have been inspired by the power of education and the moving speakers. We are confident that this year’s event will deliver all of that, and more!

More types of education. More ways to learn. More people to add to your online network.

Get ready for three motivating days of collaboration, connections, education, and fun! We are thrilled to be able to offer you this online event experience and are confident the education and networking provided will help you feel better equipped to take on challenges in your practice and continue to improve your patient outcomes. While attending sessions and connecting with colleagues online, we hope the education, strategies, and best practices exchanged will serve you well.

As you prepare to learn assessment, treatment, and prevention strategies from the comfort of your home or office, here are some additional things to be aware of for this year:

• During this online experience, you will be able to access both live and on-demand evidence-based wound, ostomy, continence, and foot and nail care education presented by speakers who are WOC nurse experts, physicians and surgeons, educators and consultants. On-demand recorded content (including Nursing Contact Hours + Pharmacology

Credits) will be available post-event to pre-registered attendees through December 31, 2021.

• The education will be presented in 30-, 60- and 90-minute sessions, under the trending healthcare themes of

Wellness, Symptom Science, Quality, and Clinical Care Innovations.

• We will feature the latest scientific case study, practice innovation, and research abstracts from experts in the field of WOC nursing. Attendees will be able to view all the 2021 accepted abstracts online, as well as ePosters. After viewing the ePosters be sure to complete an evaluation for the opportunity to receive up to 3.85 Contact Hours.

• If you are looking for the latest industry trends, products, and services, look no further than our Virtual Exhibit

Hall! Each day, the Virtual Exhibit Hall will be open for attendees to interact with Exhibitors, view their products and promotions, and have conversations with them. Be sure to check out our Innovation Hubs—daily talks hosted by exhibiting companies as they showcase their products and services or discuss education and product-related research.

Check the Event Schedule for the daily Innovation Hubs schedule and be sure to check out our On-Demand tab within the event site for four additional On-Demand Innovation Hubs that you can watch any time before December 31, 2021.

• Make sure you take part in the WOCNext Engage Challenge—a friendly competitive game that encourages you to engage with other attendees while exploring the online event platform to earn points and badges for a chance to win a prize!

• Download the MyConnect app through the Apple iTunes Store and Google Play Store by searching for “wocnext 2021”. Through the app you can create a personalized planner, search for and message exhibitors, create one-on-one online appointments with exhibitors, message attendees and post directly to social media.

• Don’t forget to share your WOCNext 2021 experience by posting pictures and videos on social media by using the hashtag #WOCNext2021.

We hope you enjoy this online experience and we look forward to “seeing” you and other attendees from around the world. Thank you for your continued expert and compassionate contributions to the lives of those you serve, and your commitment to improving patient outcomes.
