In August, an urgent e-mail came from Ivory Coast (Côte d’Ivoire). “I have just received through the post office your mail containing a lot of letters from Ivory Coast requiring booklets. We will contact all, [but] I wish to inform you that the booklets don’t remain much. By September, we will have exhausted all the remaining booklets. I would like to ask you to schedule,

This week we received this e-mail: “EHC Chad is waiting patiently his shipment of literature, and we hope it be soon.” if it is possible, a new shipment of booklets to Ivory Coast. As you can see, the requests are very high. Many evangelists in Côte d’Ivoire don’t feel comfortable to go for evangelism without any booklet of WMP.” At that time we hadn’t even scheduled another shipment for our national coordinator in Côte d’Ivoire, because they had most recently received a container! But since a shipment was already scheduled for Every Home for Christ in Côte d’Ivoire later in the year, plans changed to send a 40-foot container instead, which could include supplies for both. This week we received this e-mail: “EHC Chad is waiting patiently his shipment of literature, and we hope it be soon.”

Young people in Central African Republic read Scripture booklets from WMP.

Please cry out to God with us that He will provide for increased production soon. We praise God for allowing us to increase production to a volume of 7,000,000 per month for several months this year. The need is for consistent production far above 5,000,000 per month. We are believing God to bring us to 9,000,000 per month. That is the urgent need. [Each $100 donation provides for the printing and shipping of 2,500 Scripture booklets the size of Help From Above; $20 provides for 500 booklets full of the powerful Word of God in the languages of the people. As production increases above 5,000,000 a month, the cost for paper and shipping is only $25,000 for each additional million Scripture booklets.] How awesome to share God’s Word in someone’s own language!

World Missionary Press is receiving many more letters from Cuba requesting Scripture booklets. These letters are hand-delivered to a contact in Cuba who can respond to them. WMP’s national coordinator, India Bible Literature, received a 40-foot container the last week of September. When Brother Velu last visited WMP, he pleaded for one container each month for India’s 1.2 billion people. Another container is urgently needed.
