He Is Always There I come from papaw Albert from the wood In his garbage to the Saw dust in the air. He is always there. I come from watching Papaw Mish the still. Greenish pond then cleaning His catch. He is always there. I come from the church Bell’s ringing to me in his Lap, swinging. He is always there. I come from missing his White hair sitting in his Favorite rocking chair. He is always there. I come from Reading his Bible late at night to drinking Coffee in the early morning light. He is always there. I come from thinking he gave Me his last kiss in my heart It’s something I will always Miss. He will always be there.
