Hope Is Essential presented by Alpine Bank

Our 2021 Hope Is Essential Campaign and Auction, presented by Alpine Bank, surpassed all revenue goals for a second year in a row! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, donors and auction participants, this year’s fundraising campaign and virtual auction made a significant impact in our ability to grant timely wishes for Colorado children facing critical illness. In a year of continued uncertainty, we are grateful to our Hope Is Essential Campaign and Auction supporters for their steadfast commitment to bringing hope and joy to wish kids and their families.

23.7 miles, one life-changing day on the Colorado Trail! This August, 42 hikers completed the Trailblaze Challenge and raised over $150,000 for Make-A-Wish Colorado! Wish mom Kari and her sister Charlcy completed the hike in honor of Kari’s son, Hudson, whose wish was granted in 2019. Hudson was their inspiration and motivation for signing up and completing the hike. Kari said, “If he can fight cancer for two and a half years, I can hike for one day!” Thank you, Trailblaze Challenge hikers!
