Celebrating

20 Years of Field Trips

122 Affordable Adventures! Your portal to discover & support Wisconsin’s natural places

Celebrating 20 years of Field Trips! The Natural Resources Foundation is dedicated to getting people outdoors learning about the natural treasures of Wisconsin. In the past 20 years over 30,000 participants have joined us on 1,476 field trips located in all 72 counties of Wisconsin. Incredible! Our appreciation goes to our dedicated members, and to those new members who join us each year. We hope to see you out in the field with us this year… and beyond! Costs & Fees: We try to keep costs low & use your dollars wisely. Trip fees help fund the Field Trip Programs (coordination staff, printing, postage, and more). Some trips are also fundraisers for important conservation projects. Children on trips: “Family Friendly” trips are most suitable for children of the age recommendation listed, and thus child’s fees are noted. Children are welcome on all trips for $6 less than the adult fee listed, and must be accompanied by adults. Colored trip titles: Please double-check that a trip is a good fit for you. We want to make sure you are safe and comfortable. Trip title colors indicate their physical ratings. See page 1 for details.

Registration At-a-Glance: ฀฀฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ to register for field trips. See page 28 for more registration details. ฀฀฀฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ registration shows the most current trip availability. ฀฀฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ done in the past.

Members’ early-bird registration opens online: NOON—March 20 Family-Friendly: One of the greatest gifts we can give our children is an appreciation for nature. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Age recommendations are listed for each trip. Child-friendly trips are identified with this symbol: Birds: Learn the science of bird conservation by banding, surveying and photographing Wisconsin’s many birds. All of our birding trips are identified with this symbol: SNAs: ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ gems, our State Natural Areas (SNAs), guided by the conservationists who help protect them. All of our SNA trips are indicated with this symbol:

What makes our trips special? ฀฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ love & knowledge of Wisconsin’s outdoor lands, waters & wildlife. ฀฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ ฀ engaged, enthusiastic, knowledgeable & friendly.
