The Quality of Life Master Plan ensures that Temecula stays the course to further accomplishing its goals.

The City of Temecula concentrates on sustaining and growing an excellent quality of life. In order for Temecula to retain and also grow its success, Temecula 2030, Quality of Life Master Plan (QLMP) was created and is intended to nurture all of the City’s assets for the next twenty years while preparing Temecula as a 21st century city. Temecula strives to be a well-rounded community, setting the stage for an excellent quality of life for both residents and companies.

Over the past three decades, the City of Temecula has evolved into an innovative, dynamic city and a regional economic center for Southwest Riverside County, all while retaining its small town feel and character.

Through Temecula’s commitment to provide the means to access a comprehensive local health care delivery system, it continuously works with the medical community to partner with the public sector on social and human services. Public sector partnerships also allow Temecula to fulfill its commitment to providing diverse housing types, high quality parks, trails and recreational facilities and preserved open space. An accountable and responsive City government embodies leadership that is accessible to residents, businesses and employees, transparent in its decision making, committed to the effective and efficient delivery of services that the community values most. Temecula embodies just that. In Temecula’s commitment to enhance and support quality of life, it ensures sustainability in its focus of maintaining high quality open space and natural amenities.

Temecula’s transportation mobility and connectivity goals address infrastructure, transportation system building, service levels and job creation, increased access to higher education and revenue growth to maintain important infrastructure and services. Residents, businesses and leaders identified several economic goals to maintain important infrastructure and services in Temecula. Goals to create a high value, high growth and diversified economic base that increases access to higher education and consistently generates revenue continues to be a priority for Temecula and the residents and business community served. With Temecula being one of the top safest cities in the nation, it continues to focus its resources on sustaining safety and preparing the community at every level.
