If you are an amateur or even a pro, our free Pre-Application process is a quick and valuable resource for new businesses, growing businesses, and future businesses to start their due diligence process. Our Team will provide feedback on your game plan, and guide you towards resources, strategies, and solutions before you kick-off your project. Businesses can reduce risk and minimize delays before signing contracts, leases, or fully committing to a project by submitting a written game plan and conceptual ideas/plans. During your preapplication meeting, our key players from Building & Safety, Fire, Planning, Police, and Public Works will be available to help you navigate to the end zone. This is all done at NO COST to you.

The 3-2-1 Review Process

Team Temecula offers a 3-2-1 review process once the formal application has been submitted. Depending on the scope of a project a public hearing may or may not be required. Please consult with Team Temecula for an estimated schedule during your pre-application. Learn more at TemeculaCA.gov/

TeamTemecula. Your pre-application must include 7 copies of plans folded 8 1/2" by 11" and 1 digital copy, with the following:

• Statement of Operations • Streets, Existing Improvements, Right-of-Way Width, • & Dimensional Setback • Location Map with North Arrow • Engineering Scale • Parking Requirements • Intended Occupancy Use • Assesor's Parcel Number, Street, & Hundred Block • Total Building Square Footage • Land Use Type • Conceptual Sewer Design • Existing & Proposed Zoning • Property Lines

Getting You to the End Zone

After your pre-application is complete, you will have the option to move forward with a formal submittal. Having discussed your goals during the pre-application stage, your process of a formal submittal becomes much smoother as you're already aware of potential issues or concerns that may send your project into overtime. Every aspect of your formal submittal will be processed in our Permit Center, which saves you time and money by only having to make one stop.
