KUSADASI

6445 WINGS ABROAD Turkey 2012_AW

Kusadasi... a vibrant, cosmopolitan town.

If you prefer the quieter life though, head around the coast to the long causeway leading to Guversin Ada (Pigeon Island), and the peninsula at the end of the bay, for more public and private beaches. On the island all that remains of the Byzantine castle is the tower and some pretty cafés for a laid back afternoon of relaxation. Away from the sands, meanwhile, you can shop to your hearts content in Kusadasi’s huge Grand Bazaar, truly a shopaholic’s paradise.

Set in a spectacular Aegean Bay north of Bodrum, Kusadasi is a vibrant, cosmopolitan town, with beaches, nightlife, restaurants and shopping all within its city walls. This is the perfect location for anyone wishing to explore some of the most famous sights in Turkey.

And then there’s Kusadasi’s extensive list of restaurants serving authentic Turkish favourites for the foodies and a great international selection catering for all tastes - its all here. As the day ends the colourful nightlife of Kusadasi’s Bar Street comes alive. Lined with international pubs, bars and clubs, some playing live music, this is the part of town for party people. All in all, the typical Mediterranean climate bathing the city in sunshine for 300 days of the year, makes this the perfect holiday destination for all age groups. Whether you like lazy days by the pool sunbathing, sightseeing or action packed days out on excursions, Kusadasi has something for you.

The beaches certainly make the best first impressions. Ladies beach is a ribbon of sand just a short Dolmus trip from the centre. Once a place where only women could bathe, it’s now open for everyone and comes with a great choice of water-sports, and the seafront is packed with restaurants and cool cafés.

Places to see and things to do... EPHESUS One of the best preserved archaeological sites in the world - The ruins include one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World - The temple of Artemis.

VIRGIN MARY’S HOUSE After the death of Christ, his Mother Mary came to live in Turkey close to Ephesus. Her house is in the mountains and she remained there in prayer and solitude until her assumption into heaven to join her son Jesus Christ. Mass is celebrated here every Sunday morning.

PAMUKKALE Unique in the world, Cotton Castle is a fairyland of dazzling white petrified castles. The hot springs have been used for their therapeutic powers since Roman times.

NATIONAL PARK The park is a haven for many rare species of animals and birds and is set in stunningly beautiful surroundings.

SAIL AWAY An hours boat ride and you are in Samos - the nearest Greek Island to the coast of Turkey. Daily crossings provide a rare opportunity to see a largely unspoilt and traditional part of Greece.

TURKISH NIGHTS An unforgettable evening of wonderful food and drink awaits with performances by colourful folk groups, energetic Cossacks and exotic belly dancers.

BAZAAR SHOPPING Haggle to your heart’s content in Kusadasi’s chaotic Grand Bazaar. It’s an Aladdin’s cave of jewellery, clothes, bags, shoes and everything else imaginable.

PINE CLUB ####

The Pine Club which was built specifically for the Irish market has matured and improved since it was first introduced over 10 years ago. It has become a favourite with Irish holidaymakers who return here year after year. Its exclusive county club atmosphere and ambiance, along with its excellent entertainment and animation programme, make this complex an ideal choice for families with children of all ages, or the independent traveller. The complex offers a wide range of accommodation types, from apartments to villas with private pools. The management and staff of Pine Club are always on hand to ensure that every holidaymaker’s needs are catered for. LOCATION Pine Club is set in a peaceful wooded hillside located just 12 Km from the centre of Kusadasi, and 2Km from Long Beach, which is undoubtedly the best beach area in Kusadasi. Although Pine Club is located 12 Km from the centre of Kusadasi, holidaymakers have the best of both worlds, an idyllic peaceful setting, yet the hustle and bustle of Kusadasi is only 20 to 25 minutes drive away by local Dolmus, which stops just outside the entrance to Pine Club. This local service also provides a very frequent service to Long Beach. The unspoilt resorts of Davutlar and Guzel Camli, at the entrance of the National Park, are 8 and 12 Km away respectively and are also accessible by Dolmus.

ALTINKUM

6445 WINGS ABROAD Turkey 2012_AW

Altinkum, the golden sands... a superb base for beach lovers! ALTINKUM (literally translated as Golden Sands) was once a tiny fishing village but is now a fast growing Aegean resort. It has three superb sandy beaches. The main beach runs practically the whole length of Altinkum sweeping round the bay down to the harbour area and is fronted by a promenade with many restaurants and shops. The second beach is situated at the top end of the resort and the third beach is found just around the headland from the harbour. Altinkum is a superb base for beach-lovers looking to achieve the perfect tan. A dip in the clear waters of the Aegean provides the ultimate way to cool off whilst, for the more energetic, a variety of water sports are available. Although a fairly relaxed resort during the day, it starts to awaken at night offering you a wide choice of cuisine at its many restaurants and, after your meal, the large variety of 20

bars offer you the opportunity for a quiet drink or a lively evening - the choice is yours! This popular resort is an ideal base from which to explore the many historic and scenic sites that Turkey has to offer. Culture seekers could not find a better base than Altinkum. Only 4 kms away is the famous temple of Apollo, the single most impressive site on the Ionian Coast. The Temple of Apollo located in Didim was called the Didymaion in ancient times. The Greek traveller Pausanias who travelled during 160A.D. recorded that the temple was constructed even before Greek colonisation took place and that was in the 10th century B.C. The general belief is the temple actually dates back to the 2nd millennium B.C. However, excavations have unearthed the initial level of the temple and archaeologists feel that the temple dates back to the 8th century B.C. and the walkway was constructed a century later. With excursions also available to the Dalyan River and mud baths, to the natural phenomena that is Pamukkale (Cotton Castles) and many more exciting places, Altinkum is the ideal resort in which to have the type of holiday that you desire.

BODRUM

Bodrum Peninsula, an ideal choice for the discerning traveller... The Bodrum Peninsula has an easygoing charm and is an ideal place to experience what makes Turkey a country that holidaymakers return to again and again. It is unique in the sense that you can be amongst the hustle and bustle of a modern tourist centre one minute, but just a short walk away witness traditional scenes of Turkish life. The town of Bodrum itself is a bustling and cosmopolitan resort on the Aegean coast, built around two bays, with the 15th century Crusader castle of St. Peter crowning the peninsula between them. It’s long been a Bohemian playground for artists and writers and well-off visitors from Istanbul, but in recent years it is Irish visitors who have swelled its numbers and spread its reputation as a party capital. There is more to Bodrum, though, than just its club scene. It is a charming place with low rise white washed buildings draped in bougainvillea, their windows and door frames painted a vivid blue. A lively resort with a pretty marina, busy markets, mosques, elegant boutiques, top international brand names, and narrow side streets filled with enticing shops bars and restaurants, Bodrum is an ideal choice for the discerning traveller.

Places to see and things to do... GUMBET - with its golden beach Situated just 5km from Bodrum, Gumbet was originally the beach area for its neighbour Bodrum but has over the past few years developed into a thriving resort itself, centered around the golden arc of its gently curving beach, where conditions for windsurfing and other water sports are excellent. You’ll find an abundance of cafés and restaurants near the seafront, and the many music bars and discos allow you to party until the early hours of the morning. A good resort for shopping with all the “fake designer” goods one could ever want readily available and shops that never seem to close. Perfect for families, couples or singles, with the bright lights of Bodrum just a short distance away.

TURGUTREIS - a friendly fishing village The resort of Turgutreis is a friendly fishing village with a relaxed atmosphere. There is a wide choice of seafood restaurants along the lovely seafront where you can sit and enjoy your evening meal. Turgutreis is particularly popular with windsurfers but is also the perfect place for a peaceful and relaxing seaside holiday.

BITEZ - an ideal place to relax Bitez is a small charming resort surrounded by tangerine groves, just 2km from Gumbet. It is a laid back resort with a very relaxed atmosphere. The sand and shingle beach with its shallow waters makes it perfect for families, but it is also ideal for windsurfing and other water sports. In the evening you can wine and dine at the numerous beachfront cafés and restaurants. Bitez really is a resort that allows you unwind and enjoy true Turkish hospitality or, if you are looking for something livelier, Gumbet with its vibrant nightlife is only a short dolmus ride away.

GULET CRUISES

Take a Gulet cruise for a different kind of unforgettable holiday! These graceful boats were once built as fishing boats to ply the coastal waters and have been skillfully adapted for cruising. Gulets are wide bottomed vessels with comfortable sleeping cabins, each with private toilet and shower facilities. Above deck there is ample space for lounging and relaxing. Meals are generally served al fresco on the large rear deck. The crew consists of a captain, first mate/cook and assistant; they are all Turkish but at least one will speak English. They know these waters intimately and will make sure you visit the most beautiful and interesting points along the coast. You will have plenty of time for hiking and exploring on-shore ruins. Meals are prepared on board, using local fish produce and meats. As an alternative to chartering an entire boat you could join one of our regular departures and charter one cabin. You will have a chance to meet people from around the world while enjoying one of the most unique and relaxing holidays in the Aegean.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

6445 WINGS ABROAD Turkey 2012_AW

05/12/2011

17:31

BEFORE COMPLETING THE BOOKING FORM AT CLAUSE 20 PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING TERMS AND CONDITIONS ALONG WITH OUR ESSENTIAL HOLIDAY INFORMATION CAREFULLY: These Booking Conditions apply to all the holidays and flights described in the brochure and on our website and they deal with your rights and obligations to us and ours to you. We are committed to a policy of fair-trading and we will make every effort to ensure that you have an enjoyable holiday with us. YOUR FINANCIAL SECURITY Wings Abroad, with whom you make a contract when you book, is operated by Wings Abroad Holidays Limited. We hold Tour Operators Licence No. T.O. 252 issued by The Commission for Aviation Regulation and as a requirement have arranged an approved secured bond. This means that in the unlikely event of our insolvency before or during your holiday, any money you have paid to us is fully secured, and if you are overseas, that full arrangements will be made to repatriate you at the end of your holiday. 1. DEFINITIONS In these Booking Conditions the following words and phrases shall have the following meanings: Booking Conditions means the Terms and Conditions herein contained. Contract means the contract being entered into between the consumer and the organiser. Booking Form means the booking form attached at Clause 20. Brochure means any sales, advertising or promotional material published by the organiser. Consumer means you, the person who buys or agrees to buy the holiday or any person on whose behalf you agree to purchase the holiday and who is listed on the Booking Form or any other person to whom you transfer a holiday that you have bought. Organiser means the person who arranges your transport, accommodation etc., and who offers it as a holiday. Retailer means the person who sells the holiday to the Consumer. He is not responsible for organising the flight, accommodation or other component parts of the holiday. This could be any bonded Travel Agent or our Call Centre. In this agreement the masculine shall include the feminine, the singular shall include the plural and vice versa. 2. THE CONTRACT a) No Contract shall arise until the Consumer via a Travel Agent, our Call Centre or the Web asks for the booking to be confirmed. The booking is confirmed when the Travel Agent receives a booking reference number via its computer system, or when this is given by our sales staff to the Consumer or his Agent, or when the web displays it. In the case of a booking made with a Travel Agent, the Consumer must sign the Booking Form and pay a deposit or make full payment for the holiday, as set out in Clause 20, which is the Booking Form. If booking with our Call Centre, a Booking Form will be posted to the Consumer and he should check that the details are correct, sign it and return it to the address provided. For web bookings the Consumer must confirm his acceptance of our terms and conditions by ticking the relevant box prior to completion of the booking. The terms of contract are contained solely in this agreement, the Organiser’s confirmation, the Organiser’s brochure, or other descriptive material, or our website, any airline or sailing ticket issued and the itinerary issued by the Organiser. If any detail on the confirmation invoice is not correct, the Consumer should advise us or his Travel Agency immediately. If there is an obvious error on the Confirmation Invoice, we reserve the right to correct it as soon as we become aware of it, but will do so within 7 days of issuing the Confirmation Invoice or, if the departure is within 7 days, no later that 24 hours before travel. If any of these changes are not acceptable, the Consumer will be entitled to a refund. Excursions are any sight-seeing trips or other tours which the Consumer books and pays for through the Organiser’s overseas representatives, the Organiser’s local handling agents or any third party while the Consumer is actually on holiday. The Organiser’s representatives or agents are acting as a booking agent for the relevant excursion providers. Excursions are not packages and do not form part of the Holiday Contract nor are they governed by the Package Holidays and Travel Trade Act 1995. b) The Organiser reserves the right to terminate the Contract if the behaviour or conduct of the Consumer or any member of his travelling party either prior to or during the holiday is likely to endanger the safety or wellbeing of other Consumers in his company or that of the Consumer himself, or if he is causing unreasonable or undue disturbance or annoyance to other consumers or if he causes damage to the property of the Organiser, its servants or agents or to that of other consumers. Where the Contract is cancelled in such cases, normal cancellation charges apply as set out below. If the Consumer’s actions or those of any member of his party cause damage to the accommodation in which the Consumer is staying, or cause delay or diversion to any flight, or other means of transportation, the Consumer agrees to fully indemnify the Organiser against any claim (including legal costs) made against the Organiser by or on behalf of the owners of such accommodation or the operator of such flight or other means of transportation. c) The person making the booking must be over 18 years old. Minimum Age: Persons travelling alone who are under the age of 18 require a letter of consent from a parent or legal guardian. The minimum age of travel permissible for a Consumer travelling without parents or guardians is 17 years on the day of departure. Letters from accompanying passengers other than parents will not be accepted. 3. PERSONS WITH A DISABILITY a) It shall be the Consumer’s responsibility to disclose, prior to booking, to the Organiser, any physical or mental condition of a member of the Consumer’s party that may be relevant. Where a confirmed booking is made for any person with a disability, the Consumer must immediately request and complete a Special Needs Form, which is available upon request from the Organiser. The Consumer must complete and return this Special Needs Form to the Organiser within 7 days.

36

Page 36

b) If special arrangements need to be made for the Consumer or a member of his party, an extra charge may have to be levied. c) The Organiser cannot be held responsible for any failure on the part of the Consumer to alert the Organiser to any special needs/requirements that will affect the holiday experience and the Consumer will not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise arising. In addition, no liability shall attach to the Organiser for the provision of an unsuitable holiday for any person with a disability, where no completed Special Needs Form has been returned. 4. PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION a) The holiday must be paid for in full at least 56 days before the scheduled date of departure. b) If a booking takes place more than 56 days before the scheduled date of departure, the Organiser requires payment of the deposit as set out in the Booking Form. The balance of monies due shall be paid no later than 56 days before the scheduled date of departure. If a booking takes place within 56 days of the scheduled date of departure, the full price of the holiday must be paid at the time of booking. c) Payment may be made by cheque (if there is time to clear it to meet the payment schedule shown above - the Consumer should allow 5 working days for clearance from the time it is received) or any major credit card acceptable to the Retailer or Organiser as the case may be. d) When bookings are made through a Retailer, the Retailer shall hold any payments made to it on behalf of the Consumer until the Contract comes into effect. e) If the payments are not made as per the above arrangements the Organiser shall have the option to cancel the holiday. If the Organiser exercises this option or if the Consumer cancels the holiday (which cancellation must be notified in writing to the Organiser) the following cancellation charges are payable by the Consumer: DAYS 57 or more 56 - 29 28 - 22 21 - 8 7-0

CHARGES Loss of deposit 50% 70% 90% 100%

All cancellation charges apply to each person covered by a booking. Any insurance premium paid is not refundable. 5. SUBSTITUTION a) Where a Consumer is prevented from proceeding with a holiday, the Consumer must notify the Organiser in writing as soon as possible. b) The Consumer may, where practicable for the Organiser, transfer his booking, having given the Organiser or Retailer prior written notice of his intention to do so. c) Where a transfer is possible, the transferee of the Consumer must sign a booking form and satisfy all conditions required to be satisfied by a person who takes the package and must comply with any other reasonable requirements of the Organiser applicable to the package. d) Requests for transfer of a booking cannot be accepted within 14 days of the intended departure date. e) The Consumer who transfers a holiday shall be jointly and severally liable with the transferee to the Organiser or Retailer for the payment of any balance due in respect of the package and a standard substitution fee of €50.00 per person, together with all reasonable costs incurred by the Organiser as a result of a transfer. In some circumstances, a higher substitution fee may be charged. See also Clause 6 (g) & (h) below. 6. ALTERATION BY THE CONSUMER a) If the Consumer wishes to alter a holiday after the booking has been made he must notify the Organiser in writing as soon as possible. The Organiser may, at its absolute discretion, if practicable, facilitate this change. b) Requests for a change to the departure date or destination cannot be accepted within 14 days of the scheduled date of departure. A request for alteration must be accompanied by a payment of €20.00 per person, which payment is not refundable. c) Alterations can only be accepted on a like for like basis, i.e. a holiday booking can only be altered to another holiday booking of equal cost. For the avoidance of doubt, the respective costs of each holiday shall be no less than their respective costs, as published in the brochure, at the time of the original booking. Furthermore, alterations from one season to another are not possible. For the avoidance of doubt each year contains two seasons, the summer season runs from May to October inclusive and the winter season runs from November to April inclusive. Some Retailers deem April to be part of the summer season and it is the Consumer’s responsibility to check at the time of booking into which season his holiday falls. d) If the alteration is impracticable the original holiday arrangement shall continue to apply, If only some of the Consumers request an alteration, which is found to be practicable, a price adjustment for all Consumers on the same booking may be payable and, where payable, must be discharged on the date shown on the Organiser’s written confirmation of such change. e) It is the Consumer’s responsibility to ensure that all details on the invoice and tickets are correct. Tickets that have to be re-issued due to a change to an initial or due to a spelling error will incur a charge of €20.00 payable by the Consumer. It is important therefore that all details are checked carefully on receipt of the Wings Abroad invoice and before tickets are issued, so as to avoid this charge. f) If the Consumer fails to comply with the foregoing requirements, the Consumer shall be deemed to have cancelled the holiday and the cancellation charges detailed in Clause 4 shall apply to such cancellation. g) A name change may be made up to 14 days before departure for a fee of €50.00 per name change. Within 14 days of departure, a request for a name change will be treated as a cancellation and the appropriate fee will apply. h) Requests for changes to all names on a booking will be treated as cancellations and the appropriate cancellation fee will apply.

7. SPECIAL REQUESTS Special requests (e.g. ground floor accommodation, seas views etc.) shall be communicated by the Consumer in writing to the Organiser or Retailer at the time of booking. The Organiser shall use reasonable endeavours to fulfill such requests. No liability shall attach to the Organiser for failure to comply with a special request and such requests do not form part of the Contract. Special requests cannot be processed within 6 weeks of departure. The granting of special requests is at the sole discretion of the property management and the Organiser accepts no responsibility for special requests that are not accommodated. 8. ACCOMMODATION ON REQUEST Where accommodation is on request an additional administration charge of €15.00 will be payable by the Consumer. This charge will be credited to the cost of the holiday once a booking is confirmed. If the Organiser is unable to obtain the particular accommodation requested by the Consumer, the Organiser shall take all reasonable steps to make a comparable alternative available to the Consumer. If the accommodation requested by the Consumer cannot be confirmed or an alternative offered, or if the alternative offered is not acceptable to the Consumer, the Consumer shall be entitled to a refund of all monies paid to the Organiser less a €15.00 administration fee. 9. ALTERATIONS BY THE ORGANISER a) The Organiser reserves the right to alter, change, curtail, extend or cancel a holiday. b) If as a consequence of force majeure (hereinafter defined in subclause (F) of this clause 9), the Organiser is obliged to alter, change, curtail, extend or cancel a holiday, the Consumer shall not be at liberty to maintain a claim for compensation or otherwise for any loss arising as a consequence of the said change, alteration, curtailment, extension or cancellation of the holiday. c) The Organiser requires a minimum number of bookings to operate a specific package holiday. The Organiser’s obligation to provide that package shall be contingent upon the Organiser receiving and maintaining that minimum number of bookings. In the event that the Organiser does not receive the minimum number of bookings or having received such minimum number has that number reduced by reason of cancellation or transfer by a Consumer or otherwise, the Organiser shall be entitled to cancel or curtail the package holiday at any time up to 4 weeks prior to the scheduled date of departure and the Consumer shall not be entitled to make a claim for loss arising as a consequence of cancellation or curtailment in these circumstances. The Organiser shall notify the Consumer as soon as is practicable of any cancellation or curtailment necessitated by the foregoing circumstances. d) If prior to the scheduled date of departure there is a cancellation, alteration, change or curtailment relating to a holiday, which results in more than 18 hours change in the time of departure, or a change of resort or in the type of accommodation offered, or some other change which fundamentally alters the holiday, the Consumer is entitled: (i)To take a replacement package of equivalent or superior quality if the Organiser (whether directly or through a Retailer) is able to offer such a replacement or, (ii)To take a replacement package of lower quality if the Organiser is able to offer such a replacement and to recover from the Organiser the difference in price between that of the package purchased and the replacement package or, (iii)To have repaid as soon as possible all the monies paid under the Contract. (e) Where the Organiser makes an alteration to the holiday as contemplated in sub-clause d (i) or d (ii) above, the Consumer shall be entitled to receive compensation in accordance with the scale below. No compensation shall be payable where the alteration is for the reasons referred to in sub-clauses b) and c) of this clause. Any children not paying the full adult fare will receive 50% off these amounts. Children using a free child place are not entitled to compensation. (f) In the Contract “force majeure” means any unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser, the Retailer, or other suppliers of services, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised or any event which the Organiser, the Retailer or other suppliers of services, even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall and shall include acts of God, natural disasters, adverse weather conditions, fire or other destructions of any vessel, craft or vehicle to be used in connection with a holiday, riots, acts of war/terrorism, civil commotion, exercise of legislative, municipal, military or other authority, strikes, industrial action, requisition of equipment, mechanical breakdown, shortage of fuel, insolvency, fraud penetrated against the Organiser or any other reason beyond the control of the Organiser. 10. INSURANCE It is a condition of this Contract that the Consumer is covered by a travel insurance policy acceptable to the Organiser. Details of a specially tailored travel insurance scheme arranged by the Organiser are available on request. If the Consumer wishes to make alternative arrangements for travel insurance he must detail the name and 24 Hour Emergency No. of his insurance company in the box provided on the Booking Form. The insurance must provide cover that is equal to or greater than the insurance organised by the Organiser. Should the Organiser arrange insurance cover for the Consumer the Organiser is acting as an agent for the relevant insurer and shall not be responsible to the Consumer for any default by the insurer under the policy. The Consumer shall be responsible for making any special or increased insurance arrangements, which are deemed necessary upon receiving notice of the level of cover provided by the Travel Insurance Scheme. 11. PRICE VARIATION All prices are stated in Euro, are based on fuel costs, tariffs and taxes, and exchange rates current and appropriate at the time of publication. If any of these costs vary or if any new or increased /decreased government imposed levies such as VAT are imposed the cost of the holiday may increase or decrease accordingly. Any such increase/decrease shall be paid by or refunded to the Consumer, however no variations will be applied where their combined effects would result in an increase/decrease of less than 2% of the total cost of the holiday. During the period of twenty days prior to the departure date, the price of the booked holiday shall not be increased by the Organiser. 12. LIABILITY a) The Organiser accepts full liability for the proper performance of its obligations under the Contract with the Consumer for the provision of the holiday. b) The Organiser shall offer prompt general assistance to any Consumer who through mishap suffers difficulty, illness, personal injury or death during the contracted holiday even where such mishap occurs during an activity unconnected with the holiday contract with the Organiser or where such mishap occurs during an excursion that was not booked through the Organiser. c) The Organiser shall not be liable for any damage caused to the Consumer by the failure to perform the contract or the improper performance of the contract where the failure or the improper performance is due neither to any fault of the Organiser or Retailer acting on the Organiser’s behalf nor to that of another supplier of services because: (i) the failure which occurs in the performance of the contract is attributable to the Consumer; (ii) such failure is attributable to a third party unconnected with the provision of the services contracted for, and is unforeseeable or unavoidable; or (iii) such failure is due to: (a) unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond the control of the Organiser, the Retailer acting on his behalf or other supplier of services, the consequences of which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or (b) an event which the Organiser, the Retailer acting on his behalf or the supplier of services, even with all due care, could not foresee or forestall. (iv) The Organisers liability will not exceed any limitation applicable under any international convention governing or relating to the provision of the service complained of even if that convention has not been ratified by or applied in the Republic or Ireland. the passenger has the right to address a complaint or to make a claim for damages against either. If the name or code of an air carrier is indicated on the ticket, that air carrier is the contracting air carrier. Time limit for action: Any action in court to claim damages must be brought within two years from the date of arrival of the aircraft, or from the date on which the aircraft ought to have arrived. Basis for the information: The basis for the rules described above is the Montreal Convention of 28 May 1999, which is implemented in the Community by Regulation (EC) No. 2027/97 (as amended by Regulation (EC) No. 889/2002 and national legislation of the Member States). Sea Travel Conditions of Carriage 7 International Conventions Land, sea and air carriers will have their own conditions of carriage with which the Consumer must comply. In the case of sea travel, the provisions of the Athens Convention 1974 relating to the carriage of passengers and their luggage by sea may apply. This Convention and the sea carriers’ conditions of carriage may continue to apply to the Consumer and his party throughout his stay on board the ship, and during boarding and disembarkation. This Convention presumes that the Consumer’s baggage has been delivered undamaged unless the Consumer gives full written details to the carrier (1) in the case of apparent damage, before disembarking from the ship or the baggage is redelivered to the Consumer: or (2) in the case of damage which is not apparent or of loss, within 15 days of disembarkation or from the time when the baggage should have been redelivered to the Consumer. The Athens Convention and the carriers’ conditions may limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury, or loss of or damage to luggage, and make special provisions for valuables. A copy of the conditions of carriage applicable to the holiday, and the Athens Convention referred to above, can be supplied on request. In the case of damage other than death or personal injury or damage caused by defamation or by willful misconduct or gross negligence of the Organiser the amount of compensation which will be paid to the Consumer shall be limited to, in the case of an adult not greater than the amount equal to double the inclusive price of the package to the adult concerned and in the case of a minor an amount equal to the inclusive price of the package to the minor concerned. 13. DEFAULT BY THE CONSUMER a) The Consumer shall check all travel documentation immediately it is furnished to him. If the Consumer considers any document is incorrect or has a query in relation to its contents, he shall forthwith notify the Retailer or the Organiser of his concern and the Organiser shall respond as soon as possible. b) The Consumer is solely responsible for ensuring that he presents himself at the port of departure in sufficient time prior to the designated departure time to complete embarkation requirements. If the Consumer arrives after the check-in time stipulated in the travel documentation provided to the Consumer, the Organiser shall not be obliged to carry the Consumer and shall be entitled to treat the holiday as having been cancelled by the Consumer. c) The Consumer is restricted by regulation of carriers and executive authority with regard to the weight, type and contents of baggage, which he may take on board the craft, and/or vehicles which will be used in connection with the holiday. The Consumer shall be responsible for ascertaining any limitations which apply in this regard and shall present himself at the port of departure without any prohibited items in his luggage or on his person or with items which exceed weight or dimension restrictions applicable. d) The Consumer hereby agrees that he shall abide by all instructions or directions given by a member of the Organiser’s staff or any crew member of a carrier’s craft or vehicle used in connection with the holiday and hereby agrees to indemnify the Organiser against any loss or injury suffered or incurred by any other person as a consequence of the Consumer’s failure to act in accordance with any such direction or instruction. 14. FLIGHTS AND FLIGHT TIMES The Organiser reserves the right to change airlines or aircraft types at any time. Such changes will not be regarded as a significant change and the Consumer will not be entitled to cancel the holiday without paying the appropriate cancellation charge (see Clause 4). Some flights may have to double-hop or stop en route for fuel. Where this is known in advance details are given in the flight tables, otherwise the Organiser will inform the Retailer or Consumer. Although the flight timings are correct at the time of publication, they may be subject to change at a later stage. The Consumer will only be entitled to cancel the holiday booking without penalty or to receive compensation when the change to confirmed times is 18 hours or more. Other changes, which for example may give a reduced time in resort, cannot be compensated (see Clause 9, alterations by the Organiser). Actual flight numbers are not known at the time of publication.

as to factual matters in dispute and such Award as he may make are final. Neither party has a right of Appeal except to the High Court on a point of law. Please refer to Clause 17. d) Alternatively, claims for €2000.00 or less per booking may be pursued through the Small Claims Court as per Clause 18 of this agreement. 16. JURISDICTION a) The Contract arising from any confirmed holiday booking is to be interpreted under, and is subject to, the laws of the Republic of Ireland. b) All holidays in this brochure and on this website are operated By Wings Abroad Limited, trading as Wings Abroad. The acceptance of service of proceedings is at Wings Abroad, Unit 330, The Capel Building, Mary’s Abbey, Dublin 7. 17. ARBITRATION Arranged by the Chartered Institute of Arbitratiors - Irish Branch on behalf of the Tour Operator (Organiser). Administered under the Rules of Chartered Institute of Arbitrators - Irish Branch a) Introduction: Most problems related to a holiday are resolved by informal discussions directly between the Organiser/Retailer and the Consumer. Where agreement is not possible, the matter is then to be referred to Arbitration. b) Definitions: Arbitration is the settlement of a dispute by an impartial Arbitrator. Arbitration is a private dispute resolution procedure and is a legally binding means of resolving such matters. An Arbitration Agreement is an agreement to refer a dispute to Arbitration, usually in the form of an Arbitration Clause, as included in the standard booking conditions of the Organiser. A submission to Arbitration is called a Reference and the decision of an Arbitrator is an Award. c) Appointment of an Arbitrator: if there is a dispute which cannot be mutually agreed, either party may apply directly to the Institute at Merchant’s House, 27-30 Merchant’s Quay, Dublin 8 for the form Request for Appointment of Arbitrator. This form sets out the information to be submitted: names and address of the parties concerned, copies of the booking form and conditions (including Arbitration Clause), details of any legal or other people who are to represent the parties in Arbitration and an administration fee of €100 + VAT for non-personal injury claims and €200 + VAT for personal injury claims at present. This form refers to the Institute’s Arbitration Rules which will apply to the Arbitration and which are briefly summarised as follows (copies of the Rules and the accompanying guidance Notes on Arbitration are available from the Institute at a cost of €10 + VAT per set at present), d) Procedure: Once an Arbitrator has been appointed he is in complete charge of the reference, deciding the procedure as he considers best, and the Institute Rules deliberately give him this flexibility. e) Questionnaire Form: In this scheme, the Arbitrator will first set out a detailed form for completion by both parties to present their cases. f) Hearing: While an Award may be made by an Arbitrator based on the documentary evidence sent to him by the parties, it is open to both parties to present their case to him at an informal hearing. g) Award: The Arbitrators decision is made formally in his award which is sent to both parties. The award is a final and binding resolution of the dispute. h) Arbitration Fee: A fee is payable to the Arbitrator for the conduct of the Arbitration. The Tour Operator/Organiser normally pays this fee but the Arbitrator has absolute discretion to award this cost as he thinks fit. The Consumer must have adequate Travel Insurance before travelling.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Insurance Scheme, the Consumer is deemed to be aware of the extent of the cover provided by the Travel Insurance Scheme and hereby acknowledges receipt of the relevant information in this regard prior to contracting with the Organiser of the package. 18. SMALL CLAIMS COURT The Small Claims procedure is an alternative method of commencing and dealing with a civil proceeding in respect of a small claim (claims not exceeding €2,000) and is provided for under the District Court (Small Claims Procedure) Rules, 1997 & 1999 as amended by Statutory Instrument No. 519 of 2009, Order 53A. It is a service provided by District Court offices and is designed to handle consumer claims and business claims cheaply without involving a solicitor and with the minimum of red tape. The District Court Clerk, called the Small Claims Registrar, processes small claims. Where possible, the registrar will negotiate a settlement without the need for a court hearing. If the matter cannot be settled the registrar will bring the Applicant’s claim before the District Court. Full details are available from any District Court Office in the Consumer’s locality. The Small Claims Registrar will provide the Consumer with the application form. The fee for making a small claim is €18 at the present time.

15. COMPLAINTS a) If the Consumer wishes to make a complaint in relation to a holiday, he must immediately inform the Organiser’s representative at the location where the Consumer is when the complaint arises, thereby giving the Organiser reasonable opportunity to rectify any matter, and shall complete a form setting out the detail of the Consumer’s complaint. If the Consumer fails to comply with such requirements, the Organiser shall be entitled to recover the cost from the Consumer of any additional expense incurred by it in carrying out subsequent investigation of a complaint which is found to be unjustified. b) Notwithstanding Section (a), the Consumer shall be obliged to notify the Organiser, in writing, of any complaint within 28 days after his return to the port of departure, or termination of the holiday, whichever is the earlier. Any complaint received after this period will not be entertained. Complaints should be directed to Wings Abroad Customer Relations Department, Suite 330, The Capel Building, Mary’s Abbey, Dublin 7. c) Any dispute or difference of any kind whatsoever which arises or occurs between any of the parties hereto in relation to any thing or matter arising under, out of, or in connection with this Contract shall be referred to Arbitration under the Arbitration Rules of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators - Irish Branch in accordance with the details set out in Clause 18 below. In accordance with the Arbitration Acts 1954 and 1980 the determination of the Arbitrator

BOOKING YOUR HOLIDAY Booking your holiday is easy and can be done in one of three simple ways: 1. TRAVEL AGENT Your local Travel Agent offers a free service and will be pleased to make your reservation and give you any general advice you may need. He or she can directly access our computerised system, check availability and book your chosen holiday. 2. ONLINE Book online with us directly by logging on to our website www.wingsabroad.ie 3. CALL CENTRE Phone our call centre on 01 871 9444 where our experienced call centre staff can answer any of your queries and book your desired holiday for you. We are open for reservations Mon - Fri 09.00 18.00 and Sat 10.00 -16.00. Whichever method you choose, when you are ready to confirm your booking you must pay a deposit, currently €75 per person (includes insurance premium if customer chooses a Wings Abroad insurance product) or pay in full if the booking is within 56 days of the scheduled date of departure and the first named person signs the booking form. Subject to availability, we will confirm your booking as set out in the booking conditions on the booking form, please read these carefully before booking. Once your booking has been accepted, we will issue a confirmation invoice. Please check the invoice carefully upon receipt and advise us immediately if any of the details are incorrect as corrections may not be possible at a later date. ACCOMMODATION Rooms • Most rooms on our allocation have twin beds, but if you especially require a matrimonial bed please state this when making your booking. Some twin rooms may have a sleeping platform arrangement with two separate mattresses. • Some hotels are also able to provide 3 bedded-rooms, in some cases even four-bedded rooms, but you may find floor and drawer space cramped and extra beds will often be of a folding type. • Single Rooms are limited in number and in many cases may be inferior in standard and position to other rooms in the hotel. The extra charge paid for a single room is for the convenience of having a room to yourself. • Please note where accommodation is described as having a sea view, this means that the view of the sea will be available when standing on a balcony or terrace. If your room does not have a balcony or terrace, a view of the sea will be available from the room. Not all accommodation will face the sea directly and, on occasions, trees may partially obscure the view, particularly from rooms on lower floors. Moorish or traditional style hotels have low rise wings set in • their gardens often separate from reception areas and hotel restaurants. • Where you make a special request, such as for a bath or adjacent rooms, or rooms on lower floors, we will make every possible attempt to arrange this although we CANNOT GUARANTEE IT. • No distinction is made between a terrace, balcony or a patio or a bath and a shower. • Linen is not always as large as in Ireland and towels can be small and these may be of a woven cotton rather than the fluffy looped type we have at home. • Cots - Some hotels provide a free cot, others charge for these locally. No linen is provided so remember to take some with you. Cots may not be of an Irish design or standard and are often of the travel cot variety. Any charges for infant cot hire and food should be paid directly to the hotel • Deposits against damage or breakages may be required in apartments and may be payable in local currency. AIR CONDITIONING The standard of air conditioning will vary from hotel to hotel. Most hotels will offer air conditioning or air cooling, which in many cases is centrally operated and at the discretion of the management of the accommodation. In some areas local government restrictions apply, and there may be an additional charge, payable locally. Air conditioning/air cooling may only be available in high season (generally July and Aug) and/or at certain times of the day and night. Air conditioning will sometimes only be in the lounge, public areas or bedrooms. In older hotels the effectiveness of the air conditioning may not be up to modern four and five star European hotels. ALL INCLUSIVE HOTELS All inclusive holidays completely take the hassle out of budgeting for your holiday in the sun by including all essential ingredients in the overall cost. In most cases, the price you pay covers your flight, and accommodation, transfers, plus meals, drinks, entertainment activities and sports - leaving you free to have a good time with no worries. Although outstanding value, please remember to bring some cash for personal extras such as excursions, telephone calls and hiring sun loungers and safety deposit boxes. • Whats included: Facilities and service included may vary from hotel to hotel. To find out more, simply check the individual description for details. You can typically expect your holiday to include the following: all you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner, snacks, locally produced beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks, daytime activities, and evening entertainment. • How it works: So that staff can recognise All Inclusive guests easily, you may be required to wear a wristband or carry an ID card to show when ordering drinks, meals etc. All Inclusive facilities will finish upon check out on the final day.

Page 38

• Activities and Entertainment: All of our hotels offer a range of daytime activities such as aerobics and tennis and some include water sports on the nearby beaches. Some of these may carry an extra charge. FITNESS ROOMS Fitness rooms in hotels vary widely and it is unusual to find all the equipment you would find in a gym at home. Supervision is not always arranged. FULL BOARD/HALF BOARD Some of our hotels are offered on a half board basis (continental breakfast and evening meal). Many however have a very reasonable supplement for full board. Full board consists of breakfast, lunch and evening meal. We want to point out that these supplements are only available if pre-booked prior to departure. Hotels do not give any refund or credit for missed meals. It is possible that you may miss a meal due to the time of arrival or departure from your hotel. INDOOR SWIMMING POOLS Some of our hotels have indoor swimming pools, principally for the winter months. In the height of the summer they can be uncomfortably hot and are, accordingly, sometimes closed for maintenance. When the weather is such that swimming outside is not suitable, the indoor pool is generally open. LOCAL CHARGES Hotels may make charges for entrance to, or participation in, nightclubs, dances, discotheques, or for children’s facilities such as cots, highchairs, babysitting. Charges may also apply for special facilities such as tennis courts, mini golf, table tennis, fitness centres, saunas, safety deposit boxes, mini-bars, air conditioning etc. Likewise the use of deckchairs, umbrellas, sun-beds, and beach equipment may have to be paid for. Accommodation management may charge for other facilities not listed. ROOM SUPPLEMENTS Room supplements are calculated according to the applicable date of departure from Ireland for the duration of the holiday. SATELLITE TV Please note that the satellite TV featured in many of the hotels receive a limited reception and not always the channels you are used to at home. UNDER OCCUPANCY SUPPLEMENTS Our contract with hoteliers and apartment owners is based on a price per room and that is based on the maximum number of Full Fare Paying Passengers (FFPP) sharing. Where an apartment or hotel is not fully occupied by FFPP, for example three people may wish to share accommodation usually sold for four people and priced accordingly, a portion of the room cost is recovered through under occupancy supplements. We offer first and second child discounts substantially below room rate, and as such they are not FFPP and do not count towards occupancy. As such an under occupancy charge has to be applied to the actual FFPP. In these situations the full cost of the holiday will be less than if all were priced as FFPP. VACATION OF ROOMS The standard international practice is to let rooms from midday to midday. However, times do vary. Check-in times are usually between 2pm and 3pm, check out times between 11am and 12 midday on the day of departure. Therefore, if you check in immediately after a night flight this would normally count as one night’s accommodation. Similarly, if your return flight is at night you will normally be required to vacate your room at 12 midday prior to leaving for the airport. Day rooms are subject to availability/cost and should be arranged locally with the accommodation management. CHILD PRICES AND FREE CHILD PLACES • Free child places apply to 2nd Child travelling with a minimum of two full paying passengers in one bedroom & two bedroom apartments, and apply to 3rd child travelling with a minimum of two full paying passengers in Standard & Superior Villas. • Free child places are limited and do not include extras such as fuel supplements, under occupancy supplements and board supplements. • The number of free places is limited on each flight, and is only available in certain accommodation. • Free child places cannot be combined with any free adult places. Infants under two years travel for €35 on an adult’s lap with a • lap strap. Any services provided by hotels or apartments are to be paid locally e.g. cots/food etc. • The infant and child reduction age limits apply to the child’s age at date of RETURN travel. • Any FREE children taking an optional board supplement offer MUST pay the board supplement in full, but they are not classified as a paying passenger. • All adults and children must pay for holiday insurance. • Deposits are payable by all adults and children even if they have a free place. The total paid will be deducted from your account. • Children with a free place or reduced child price DO NOT COUNT towards occupancy, as the share price is based on full fare paying passengers. For the third child sharing the same accommodation unit, child reductions do not apply. When all the free child places have been taken on a flight, the • first child will pay a child price. • All offers are subject to availability. • Free child places are at selected properties on selected dates from selected departure airports.

FLIGHTS AIRCRAFT AND FLIGHTS/BAGGAGE The maximum allowance for baggage is printed on your ticket and is usually 20kgs. Airlines will refuse to take any single item weighing more than 32kgs. Infants aged under two on the date of return are not entitled to a baggage allowance. The allowance for hand luggage is 5kg per customer, and your bag must be of a size to fit comfortably in an overhead locker. Please bear in mind when selecting your hand luggage that if you exceed your luggage allowance you are likely to be charged extra by the airline for the excess baggage or you may be required to leave some things behind. Outside of your baggage allowance, certain airlines may charge for the carriage of outsize items such as bicycles, golf clubs, surfboards etc. These charges may only be realised on the return leg of your journey. Please note that new EU rules on hand luggage came into effect from Monday 6th November 2006. Please ensure your luggage is in good condition and can withstand any bad weather experienced, this can particularly happen outside the summer months. In the event of a delay, remember to pack essentials, (medication, baby food etc.) in your hand luggage as you may not have access to your luggage during the delay. CHECK-IN When you get to the airport you should report to the check-in desk that shows the flight number on your ticket. Check-in desks generally open two hours prior to departure. It is your responsibility to arrive at the check-in desk in good time and with all the proper documents required for your flight. FLIGHT TIMES Every effort is made to keep changes to a minimum, but as a guideline, should your flight timings change by more than two hours you will be notified as soon as possible. If the change is less than two hours you will be notified by way of your tickets. Some flights may stop en route for technical or operational reasons. When you receive you tickets and travel information please check them carefully for minor changes. Wings Abroad cannot accept responsibility for any extra expenses incurred in the event of your failure to check in two hours before your scheduled departure time or failure to obtain correct passports, visas or other necessary travel documents. FLIGHT DELAYS Unfortunately, from time to time delays may occur at your departure airport or to the incoming flight, due to factors outside of our control, such as delays at check-in, congested security queues, Air Traffic Control restrictions at home or overseas etc. In all cases our Airport Representatives rely on obtaining information relating to any delay from either the airline or ground handler at the airport (check-in, baggage handling, boarding etc) or the airport authority. When this information becomes available to us, we or our ground handler will advise you. After a predetermined time we will issue vouchers through the airline or ground handler for tea/coffee/soft drinks and snacks to tide you over. It may be possible to make a claim through your travel insurance for any delay. Please check your policy documents. FLIGHT SUPPLEMENTS The basic panel price is subject to extra variable charges, due to fluctuations in fuel costs. The total cost of your holiday, including these charges, will be confirmed at the time of booking. INFANTS Children under two on the date of return travel are charged €35 only and sit on an adults lap with a lap strap. They do not have a baggage allowance. Children under two are insured free under their parent’s holiday insurance cover if purchased through Wings Abroad. PREGNANT WOMEN Airline regulations vary but most airlines refuse to carry women who are more than 28 weeks pregnant by their return journey date. If you are in any doubt please contact your travel agent, who will be happy to give you additional information. We also advise that you check with your doctor before travelling. GOLF ARRANGEMENTS If you need to bring golf clubs whilst on holiday please be advised there will be a charge levied by the airline or coach company for their carriage. MEALS ON BOARD In-flight meals are no longer included in your package holiday, but in-flight refreshments may be purchased on all flights. NON SMOKING FLIGHTS All our flights operate as non-smoking flights. DEEP VEIN THROMBOSIS The risk of deep vein thrombosis occurring while travelling by air is extremely low. However, there are a number of precautions you can take to further reduce your risk. Any travel involving prolonged immobility can result in deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This occurs when a blood clot forms, usually in the lower leg. This is a serious medical condition, and needs treatment with blood thinning drugs or anticoagulants to prevent clots breaking off from DVT and travelling to the lungs causing significant illness and on rare occasions death. People at risk include those with a history of thrombosis, those taking an oral contraceptive or who are pregnant, those recently hospitalised, smokers, the obese, some patients with congestive heart failure and people with malignant disease. Dehydration may exacerbate the problem. Periodic exercising of the feet and legs, or walking around where feasible, is advised to reduce the risk. Elastic stockings may be helpful. Drink plenty of non-alcoholic liquids to prevent dehydration. Those who are believed to be particularly prone are advised to obtain expert medical advice before travelling.

GROUP CONDITIONS Free Place discount is for the basic holiday cost only. All the applicable supplements and insurance charges are payable in full by the passengers including free place passengers. The party size is determined by the number of full fare paying passengers (2 Children = 1 Adult) e.g. 15 travel, the 15th goes free. The group must depart on the same flight, for the same accommodation for the same duration. All passengers must pay a deposit. A decrease in the numbers below those guaranteed will mean the free place discount will be forfeited. No amendment fee for name changes will be charged until eight weeks prior to the departure when a full list of names must be supplied. Please note group offers are subject to availability. The group must be booked on the same booking reference. Any refunds or payments due to a group member will be paid to the lead name and it is the lead name’s responsibility to reimburse accordingly. HEALTH REQUIREMENTS At the time of going to press, no certificate of vaccination is required for destinations featured in this brochure, but should this position change, we will advise you. However, for up to date information please check on 01-8719444. It is our aim to do all we can to ensure your holiday meets your expectations. However, we feel we should point out that general standards of care, hygiene, safety, public services and efficiency may differ from those at home. HEALTH AND SAFETY We strive to raise standards in all our overseas resorts. We can stand over advice from health and safety organisations and accredited safety consultants. All resorts have to complete regular quality checks which have been produced in conjunction with professional organisations. Safety and hygiene standards may vary from those you are used to at home. While your accommodation is obliged to meet local safety requirements, these may not match Irish standards which are among the highest in the world. HOLIDAY DETAILS Unfortunately it is inevitable that some of the prices or details contained within our brochure may have changed since going to print. As part of our commitment to quality service, we will inform you about changes to relevant details before you submit your booking. HOTEL AND RESORT DESCRIPTIONS Hotels can and do withdraw facilities at certain times as a result of bad weather or the need for maintenance, refurbishments or improvements. Some amenities in both hotels and resorts may not be available in low season and this is one reason why prices are cheaper at these times. Where outdoor facilities are advertised by the hotel, they should be available, but obviously they are subject to weather conditions. Swimming pools have to be emptied now and again for cleaning and maintenance, and water rationing may even occur. Pease note that indoor pools may be closed during high season. Public holidays and religious festivals may also affect the availability of resort and hotel facilities. The National Tourist Office can provide details of such events. LOCAL CONDITIONS - BUILDING WORK Building works and noise are almost unavoidable in certain developing resorts. Unfortunately, such developments are completely outside our control and we do not receive advance notice of when they will begin. Where we are aware of any building works, which may reasonably be considered to adversely affect your enjoyment, we will notify you as soon as possible. However, it should be noted that our ability to influence independent developers is non-existent. In some resorts the provision of roads, power and water supplies etc. does not always keep pace with the demands of rapid tourist development, so you may experience problems with, for example, plumbing or drainage. LOST LUGGAGE Guests who leave items of luggage in resort should consider a claim through their insurance as Wings Abroad cannot take responsibility for items left in resort or organise for items to be sent back to Ireland. MINIMUM NUMBERS The holidays we feature are subject to a minimum number of persons being required for the holiday to proceed. In the event that this minimum number is unlikely to be achieved we will inform you immediately and accordingly reserve the right to cancel your holiday and refund all monies paid.

Page 39

PASSPORTS AND VISAS It is your sole responsibility to ensure that you have a valid passport and visa for your journey. You are recommended to apply for a passport as soon as possible and to allow at least 4 weeks for delivery. If you do not have an IRISH or BRITISH passport you must check and see if a visa is required for your holiday and it is your responsibility to obtain the relevant visa. EU passport holders are required to purchase an entry visa on arrival in Turkey at a cost of €15.00. Holders of non EU passports and persons with travel documents other than a passport should consult the Turkish Embassy at 11 Clyde Road, Ballsbridge, Dublin 4 (Tel. 01 6685240) as they may need to apply for a visa in advance of travel. If the name you have given us on the booking form is different to that shown on your passport, due to marriage, you must bring your marriage certificate with you or otherwise obtain a new passport. Original marriage certificates can only be accepted, if issued less than six months prior to travel. THE NAME ON YOUR FLIGHT TICKET MUST EXACTLY MATCH THAT ON YOUR PASSPORT. PASSPORTS FOR CHILDREN Children aged 16 years and over on the date of return travel require their own passport. Children who are included on a parent’s passport issued before 01 October 2004 may continue to travel to countries featured in our programme up to their 16th birthday along with that parent, provided that the passport is still valid. Should a parent renew a passport, the child(ren) originally on that passport will require their own passport. For further information please log onto www.foreignaffairs.gov.ie/services/passports. Passport application forms are available at all Garda Stations and Post Offices displaying the “Passport Express Service” sign. Our sales staff should be able to answer any particular queries you may have with regard to hotels and apartments featured. TICKETS About 14 days before the start of your holiday you will receive your flight tickets and travel documents. Your tickets will show your flight number. When a customer books within 4 weeks of the holiday departure date, a ticket on departure (TOD) will be issued at the airport. To cover the cost of this service, Wings Abroad reserves the right to charge €30 per passenger at the time of booking. TRANSFERS When you land at your holiday destination airport you will be greeted by a Wings Abroad Representative. Occasionally a private taxi or mini bus transfer will be organised for your journey. Not all transfers are accompanied by a Wings Abroad representative. Your representative will provide any necessary information prior to your unaccompanied journey to resort. Transfer times cover the average period taken from leaving the airport to arriving in your resort. A further allowance should be made for time spent in resort, transferring between properties. The times shown are approximate, since journey times can vary due to road works, traffic etc. Should customers wish to make their own transfer arrangements for any reason, the holiday price remains the same. YOUR PROTECTION AND FINANCIAL SECURITY We hold Tour Operators Licence No. T.O. 252 issued by the Commission for Aviation Regulation and as a requirement we have arranged an approved secured bond. This means that when you book a holiday with us you can be entirely confident that any money you have paid us is secured. DATA PROTECTION ACTS 1988 & 2003 We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information. We will use all personal information disclosed for the purpose of fulfilling our Contract with the Consumer as a Tour Operator/Holiday Organiser and in respect of other services offered by us or other companies within the group. ESSENTIAL HOLIDAY INFORMATION

DISORDERLY BEHAVIOUR For the comfort and safety of both passengers and crew, all airlines operate a STRICT policy regarding the disorderly behaviour of any passenger whilst boarding/disembarking or whilst on board the aircraft. Aircraft Captains have the right, at their absolute discretion, to refuse boarding to any person who is, or appears to be, under the influence of alcohol or drugs. In the event of in-flight disruption, the airline will not hesitate to report the offender to the authorities prior to the arrival at the destination. If in the Captain’s opinion, a passenger’s behaviour requires the aircraft to be diverted, the airline will SEEK REIMBURSEMENT FROM THAT PASSENGER for all additional costs incurred as a result of the diversion. If you are denied boarding by virtue of your conduct, we will have no further responsibility for you, neither will the airline, and accept no liability for any additional expenses incurred by you as a result. In the case of serious misconduct on board a flight, we also reserve the right to terminate your holiday or that of any member of your party. If terminated, neither the airline nor we shall have any further responsibility or liability to you. You should also be aware that misconduct on an aircraft constitutes a serious criminal offence for which you are liable to prosecution.

PROPERTY RUN KIDS CLUBS Some hotels and apartments operate their own Kid’s Club programme on site. These clubs are not organised by Wings Abroad, but are run by the owner of the individual complex. Some of the properties may operate a limited Kid’s Club, with restricted times or on specific days, and some may be payable locally. Many of the clubs may operate in high season only and will be dependent on numbers. Minimum/Maximum ages may vary from club to club. Please note that these clubs operate at the discretion of the owner and as a result the operation of the clubs could change without notice. SPECIAL NEEDS Your holiday enjoyment is of paramount importance to us and we always strive to provide the highest level of service. We do not specialise in providing holidays for the disabled but will always try to facilitate any special needs. However, hotels abroad are not generally able to cater for guests who rely on wheelchairs and presently, none of the hotels in this brochure can be recommended as totally suitable. Due to the variety of mobility problems and other special needs affecting our guests we prefer to consider these on an individual basis. It is therefore important to discuss with us the suitability of any particular accommodation and resort. Wheelchair assistance is available at most airports and it is important that, if needed, this is requested at the time of booking, or at least 7 days prior to departure. Please contact your travel agent should you have any physical disabilities. If you have booked directly, please ring our Sales Team on 01-8719444. It is your responsibility to inform us of any special needs/mobility difficulties within your party. SPECIAL REQUESTS Where you make a special request we will pass this on to the supplier, but we cannot guarantee that it will be fulfilled. We will rarely be able to tell you before you travel if your request cannot be met and no compensation will be payable for the nonprovision of special requests. Special requests are NOT possible on late availability or special offer holidays.
