A note from our Principal, Andrew Smith Hello and welcome to the Windsor North School Art Auction. It has been a real hive of activity here preparing for this event and we are delighted with the result. I would particularly like to thank Fiona Byrne for the many hours she has put into this auction and to our wonderful PTA for their efforts. We have also had some fantastic sponsor support and a very high calibre of Art work is on offer. Funds raised from this event will go towards the creation of a covered outdoor area. This will double as a shaded lunch area and outdoor learning area. Thank you once again to all the people involved in this event - your support and enthusiasm is greatly appreciated. Kathryn McCully Kathryn was the overall grand prize winner at the 2015 ILT Art Awards with her animated work. She has utilized collections of photographs taken over the past three years around Invercargill and Southland as the stage on, or backdrop against which various actions are performed. The static photographs are composited and animated to create new relationships.

Jenny Mills After graduating with a Fine Art Degree in Dunedin, Jenny went on to train as a Secondary School Teacher, teaching mainly Painting and Printmaking. Now married and with two young daughters, Jenny has recently worked with staff and students at Enrich and Southland Girls’ High School.

Eddie Griffiths A local Invercargill photographer, Eddie has won numerous awards both locally and nationally. “A passion for photojournalism was fuelled by following my two sons around their sporting endeavours. Now I shoot any sports trying to get a different viewpoint from others.” Night photography has become a recent passion with images of the Milky Way and Aurora Australis, published in the Southland Times.

To bid you must register and receive a bidding number. To place a bid on an artwork/s, bidders write their bidder number and their bid amount clearly on the sheet.

All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds.

All items are “as is”.

Once an opening bid has been placed, the item will be ‘sold’ to the highest bidder.

Silent bidding closes at 3pm on Sunday 8th November.

You will be notified on Sunday after 3.30pm if you win an auction.
