How To Fix "Device not migrated" Error on Windows 10


Method 1. Run SFC/Scannow The "Device not migrated" bug might be happening because of the corrupted or damaged system files. So, you should run the built-in System File Checker before trying anything else. • Step 1. Open an administrative Command Prompt. Click Start, type "command" then right-click "Command Prompt" from the top and click Run as administrator. • Step 2. In the Command Prompt window, type sfc /scannow and press Enter. • Step 3. Wait until verification 100% complete and reboot the machine. After restarting your computer, check to see if you could use the not migrated device before.


Method 2. Reinstall the device driver • Step 1. Press Windows Key + R then put devmgmt.msc in the Run dialog box. Click OK to open Device Manager. • Step 2. When Device Manager window opens, find the problematic device, right click and click Uninstall. • Step 3. Restart your computer.
