When designing against the risk of infectious agents and Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAIs), identifying and implementing the right surface solutions is paramount for safety, efficiency, and patient comfort. With multiple product choices available, Wilsonart developed Disinfection Zones as a simplified material choice guide for addressing essential Cleanability, Disinfection, and Durability requirements.

Disinfection Zones Wilsonart Disinfection Zones is an easyto-follow guideline for selecting the right surfaces within four primary healthcare areas prone to infectious risk. Each Disinfection Zone, from Low Risk to Very High Risk, addresses the specific cleanability, disinfection, and durability requirements for creating high-functioning spaces. These long-lasting spaces can measure up to stringent cleaning, sanitizing, disinfecting, and sterilizing protocols.
