TCNN will print a Comanche organization’s annual event flyer once free of charge as a courtesy to our tribal organizations. The guidelines for flyer submission are: Pow-wow flyers have to be from an established Comanche organization. There has to be contact person and number on the organization’s annual flyer. We reserve the right to edit all material. Letters or articles that contain libelous information, slander, or personal attacks will not be printed. Six Resolutions Introduced at CBC Monthly Meeting Story by Stacey Heminokeky/News Staff

Chairman Wallace Coffey called the February CBC meeting to order at 10:15 a.m. Secretary/Treasurer, Gary Tahmahkera conducted Roll call. All CBC members were present, except Committeeman No.2, Sonya Nevaquaya, who joined the meeting later. The invocation of the meeting was given by Chairman Wallace Coffey.

The Lawton Arts and Humanities Council gives Tim Saupitty the 2013 Artist of the Year Award Feb. 14 at the Ft. Sill Apache Casino The award was given by Lawton Mayor, Fred Finch. Saupitty, who sold his first painting at the age of 13 years old, has painted murals at the Comanche Nation College, Comanche Nation Food Distribution Office, and the Comanche Nation Elder Food and Nutrition Center. In addition, his artwork has been displayed at numerous art galleries and museums nationwide.
