Decision on Land Expansion Scheduled June 24th

The decision on Camp American Legion land expansion plans will be made by the Natural Resources Board on Wednesday, June 24th in La Crosse. Department Commander Bob Shappell will be appearing at the meeting and speaking on behalf of The American Legion. The meeting is scheduled for 8:30 AM on Wednesday, June 24th at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center, 3060 South Kinney Coulee Road, Onalaska, WI 54650. LEGION RIDERS CELEBRATE ARMED FORCES DAY

In celebration of Armed Forces Day on May 16, 2015 American Legion Riders from Chapters in the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Districts came out in force to lead the annual Salute the Troops Ride from the New Berlin Harley Davidson dealership to the Harley Davidson Museum in Milwaukee. Joining the 30 plus Legion Riders on this ride was Wisconsin’s Adjutant General, Major General Donald P. Dunbar (front row, kneeling)
