VINTAGE GAS TANK CONVERSION KITS This steel tank rests on a clever tunnel that hides the OEM wiring and holds the stock ignition switch to deliver a clean look. Available for carbureted or fuel-injected models, both kits feature a steel backbone cover. The fuel-injection tank includes the RSD “Gas It” fuel injection kit which installs with simple hand tools. VINTAGE SEAT CONVERSION KITS Add a period-style bobber seat to your Softail. These seat kits are inspired by the Softail conversion Roland Sands Design created and dubbed El Borracho. The seat kit includes a fiberglass battery cover, billet seat pivot, steel seat supports, seat springs and steel seat pan. GAS IT FUEL INJECTION KIT Our kit allows the use of wild custom fuel tanks on 01-07 fuel-injected Delphi models. It relocates stock the fuel pump, fuel pressure regulator, fuel filter and fuel level sending unit to the underside of fuel tank (not included). The kit includes a steel weld-in plate, 3.75” x 8” aluminum manifold, all hardware and install instructions. The tank bottom must be relatively flat to accommodate port installation. The kit requires vented tank or vented gas cap. 1-INCH VINTAGE AND VINTAGE SHORT STACK HANDLEBARS Add some vintage bobber flavor with a new school twist. Inspired by the Roland Sands Design custom dubbed El Borracho, these handlebars are available with chrome, black powder-coat or raw finishes. The chrome and black powder-coated bars are knurled, slotted and drilled for internal wiring; the raw handlebars are knurled, but not drilled or slotted. Tony and his Road Glide, “the Silver Bullet,” took a two day road trip to Sturgis, South Dakota last year to meet up with the RSD crew on Lazelle Street for the rally. He braved the pouring rain in Utah, the sweltering heat in Nevada’s high desert and hallucinations in East Wyoming. When he finally saw the ‘Welcome to South Dakota’ sign, he was greeted by a tooth shattering hail storm. He ran about 725 miles each day, stopping only for gas. This was the first open road trip for Tony and the RSD Venturi Air Cleaner. He got a lot of compliments and questions about the aggressive looking air cleaner and through his conversations even made some new friends. Although it was a rough trek, Tony and his partner in crime can’t wait to do it all over again next August.

Aggression and beauty collide in RSD’s exclusive Contrast Cut™ finish. We’re the industry pioneers of the Contrast Cut™ finish and brought the look to the aftermarket first in 2006 with the Judge and Domino wheels. This year we’ve expanded our line up to include the Diesel wheel. To create our exclusive Contrast Cut™ finish we start with a polished wheel that has been black-anodized. We load it back on the CNC-machine and re-cut the black surface to reveal the aluminum underneath. The newly cut surface is left untouched and delivers a raw and aggressive style that is truly unique and radically changes the look of any Chopper, Custom or Bagger.
DIESEL CONTRAST CUTTM ONE-PIECE ALUMINUM WHEELS We continue to revolutionize what a billet motorcycle wheel can be and our new design, the Diesel, is no exception. RSD introduces another industry first in 2008: a rolled outer rim lip that features CNC-machined speed dots along its perimeter. You won’t find this style anywhere else. The aggressive Contrast Cut™ finish shows the detailing beautifully.
Custom rear wheels require the use of rotors and pulleys with a 2.50” i.d. flange. V-Rod wheels only work with Performance Machine calipers and RSD rotors.

RADIAL LOAD TESTER We’ve replicated the incredible stress a wheel is subjected to during cornering. You can trust your RSD wheels will withstand those canyon roads and track days since they’ve come out of our simulated side load test unscathed.
This giant machine simulates a load on a tire/wheel assembly while taking miles and miles of road with the occasional beating. The wheel is forced to endure countless rotations and one flaw will send the design back to the drawing board.

Each RSD wheel, pulley and brake rotor is manufactured in the state-of-the-art Performance Machine facility in La Palma, California. PM is known to have the highest quality product on the market today— which makes RSD no different. Each RSD wheel is designed and engineered to specific standards and thoroughly tested at the PM in house facility—the only in-house testing facility like it in the USA. RSD tests to strict world-wide standards such as JASO and TUV. Our wheels life begin as aerospace quality billet aluminum forgings that place the highest material strength in the same direction as the operating load, creating a light and strong wheel. From there, our talented staff of designers create the array of styles you see on the bikes throughout this catalog using CAD design software. Each wheel design and size must pass all of our testing standards before it is delivered to your local Drag Specialties dealer for installation. IMPACT TESTER This test simulates starting and stopping, as The massive testing unit simulates the well as the occasional burn out. Load pot holes and road hazards that a wheel sensitive rams cycle back and fourth is subjected to in the real world. We wrap replicating real world style torture in an each and every wheel size and design attempt to rip the hub out of the rim. with a tire and replicate a hard edged hit; the wheel must retain air pressure for a specific time in order to pass.

RSD high performance brake rotors are designed to perform, and look pretty. All rotors feature a 420 stainless steel outer band and a CNC machined aluminum carrier to complement your RSD wheels. 11.5” discs are available in Contrast Cut™ and Chrome finish and the 13” discs are available in Contrast Cut™ and polished finish. The rotors come with a spacer for use on 84-08 wheels, the wide rear wheels require special rotors with a 2.50” i.d. flange. Will fit 84-99 applications if used in conjunction with Performance Machine calipers 13’’ rotors must be used with Performance Machine calipers designed for 13’’ rotors, will not work with calipers designed for 11.5’’ rotors

FORGED ALUMINUM PULLEYS RSD pulleys are CNC machined to perfectly mirror the pattern of the RSD wheel behind it for a complete custom look. The precision-shaped tooth profile is designed to fit the belt perfectly and is hard anodized for longer wear. The Domino and Judge are available in Contrast Cut™ and the Diesel is available in Chrome or Contrast Cut™ finish. All pulleys (except 00-06 Softail pulleys are interchangeable for all years and come with a special adapter, which allows the pulley to fit 1.95”, 2.22” and 2.50” o.d. hub flanges. 00-06 Softail pulleys include mounting bolts; all other applications require mounting bolts to be purchased separately.
