Congratulations prize recipients. Barry Maloney ’85, Vice President of Student Affairs at Westfield State University, said in his Prize Day address, “Clearly we weave a tapestry that celebrates diversity and difference, one which champions community service and leadership. Both schools share Westfield State’s founder Horace Mann’s belief that education is ‘the birth-right of every child’ and that ‘every addition to true knowledge is an addition to human power.’ We celebrate the cultures outside our borders with programs and initiatives that open the world to our students.”
