Allison Transmission Hybrid H50/50 EP System Stator Housing
Casting: Steering Knuckle Alloy: 206 Aluminium Benefit: Weight Reduction
High Strength Aluminum • Typically Deliver 30–50% Weight Reduction •
Approximately 60 lbs per axle 206 Aluminum provides: • Longer useful life • Damage tolerant • Strength/weight ratio • Lower cost than forging
Reduce the weight of your ductile iron parts by 50%. Eck has been pouring aluminum since 1948 and is known as an innovator of cast advanced alloys. One specialty is A206. Using low cost sand tools and foundry practices, Eck can reduce the weight of your component and provide strength and ductility similar to forged aluminum. A206 has successfully been used in applications for aftermarket automotive, combat vehicles, military vehicle armoring, marine racing and top fuel racing. Visit www.eckindustries.com to learn more about A206.
Water cooled manifold casting
Eck Industries will pour the best alloy for your product. Eck casts most aluminum alloys. Primary alloys include: • C355 • 201 • 242 • 852
• A356 • E357 • NASA 398 • 203 • 206 • 224 • 535 • 714 • 850 • Aluminum metal matrix composites (MMC)
Alloying & Metal Matrix Composites • Engine Components • For applications that require improved performance at continuous or intermittent elevated temperatures, Eck has an alloy solution for you. Al-Cu alloy systems, such as A206 and A242, continue to deliver excellent properties up to nearly 250˚C. For even higher temperature applications, alloys containing Scandium, Zirconium, Vanadium and Chromium with or without ceramic reinforcements are available. Eck is engaged in research of very high temperature alloys, which use nano-reinforcements to drive high temperature performance.
