Power on your Netgear Nighthawk mesh extender correctly. Connect your extender with a PC or mobile device.
Open any web browser such as Chrome, Firefox, Explorer, Safari, etc.
For Windows device http://mywifiext or http://mywifiext.local. IOS device http://mywifiext.local and for android devices http://<extender’s IP address>
A login page will display and type your username and password. Now, click on the login button. When you log in the first time you will see an installation assistant otherwise you will see simple setting page.
When the status page shows, click on the menu icon.
Finally, select settings to view and change them if needed.
