Annual exhibition celebrates St. Croix Valley artists who also are members of ArtReach
The 2022 Members Show at ArtReach St. Croix is now on view and features works by 80 artists, the most ever featured. This year’s submitted art includes paintings, photography, pottery, mosaic, stoneware and multimedia pieces. “Each year, we look forward to showcasing the talents and unique perspectives of our memberartists in the annual Members Show,” said Executive Director Heather Rutledge. “The show is a sign of our appreciation for member support as well as a way to recognize artists who live or work in the St. Croix Valley and celebrate the diversity of art created here.” Some of the artists were recognized with awards, including:

Checking in on the bison at Belwin
SHARON SYKORA | CONTRIBUTED
The bison have been doing well since their arrival in June and are roaming the prairie every day, grazing in a collective herd. They are trying their best to stay cool in the summer heat and some can be seen rubbing themselves against tree trunks and scratching posts in order to rid themselves of their molting pelage. They can be seen roaming the prairie from the recently renovated Bison Observation Platform located at 15551 Division Street, Afton, MN 55001. The platform is open every day from dawn to dusk. The bison will be at Belwin until the end of September/early October. Belwin encourages everyone to come see them while they can. —David Freeman, Development and Communications Director at Belwin.
