Planning Perfection For wedding planner Tonya Edinger, owner of Weddings of Pittsburgh, 2017 is already shaping up to be a year full of glitz and glamour. “I’m planning weddings that are incorporating a lot of gold and silver, glass candelabras, very high vases with greens pouring out of them, and pearls and sparkles everywhere,” she says. And it’s not just the brides who are making every little decision about the big day. “Grooms are all in and making decisions about a lot of little details — which is really exciting because as I always say, this is the first party you ever throw together as a married couple,” continues Edinger. Many of the wedding trends that she has been seeing include a focus on food and photos. “I have found that photo backdrops are becoming more popular because they’re a classy and unique addition to the festivities. Food trends, such as tapas stations and craft beers, are also on the rise for couples planning their big day.” Weddings of Pittsburgh, 724.968.7135. weddingsofpittsburgh.com.
