Christmas doesn’t have to be stressful! We are now in December with Christmas fast approaching, some love it, some hate it and some find it extremely stressful but it doesn’t have to be! Christmas is ranked as the sixth most stressful event in your life but with some planning you can reduce the stress and drama and enjoy the holidays. Set yourself a budget and stick to it - don’t decide that because Christmas comes but once a year you can splash the cash and credit cards. Decide what you can realistically afford to spend on gifts, food, travel and socialising. Make a list of the people your need to buy presents for and how much you are willing to spend on each person, sticking within your budget. If you have a large group of friends maybe do a Secret Santa where one person buys another a gift, this reduces the cost for everyone and adds a bit of fun as well.
