These services include blood pressure clinics, car seat checks, a loan closet, CPR classes and event stand-bys.
Blood Pressure
We offer this FREE weekly clinic every Tuesday at either our Headquarters or the Town of Gates Town Hall from 11:00 -1:00.
Car Seat Inspection Clinic
Free Car Seat Inspection Clinics are held on the 2nd Saturday of every month at Gates
Ambulance Headquarters located at 1001 Elmgrove Road (near the corner of Buffalo and Elmgrove Rd). Call 247-5519 for an appointment.
Loan Closet
Gates Volunteer Ambulance Services provide no-charge loans of personal equipment to help our town members get back to health, such as... wheel chairs, crutches, canes, and walkers.
Event Coverage
With appropriate notice, Gates Volunteer Ambulance is usually able to provide a crew and ambulance to stand by during any community or sport event. With so many people in one place we want to be sure there is proper medical assistance close by. For example, we regularly do football, soccer, parade, and church festival stand-bys.
Call Coverage
GVAS responded to 6,506 calls for service in 2016.
