Byron-Bergen Winter 2022 Scholar Athlete Teams Five of Byron-Bergen’s winter varsity sport teams achieved the New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) Scholar-Athlete Team award. These sports teams are boys basketball, girls basketball, boys swim, girls swim, and wrestling. “I am always proud to celebrate our student athletes’ success in the classroom,” said ByronBergen Athletic Director Rich Hannan. “Just like in athletic competition, it is extremely exciting to see them not only achieve but excel.
